i love love love fresh produce out of the garden! there's nothing like eating something that was growing a few minutes ago. we're eating snow peas, lettuces, zukes, carrots and a couple of early beans rignt now how 'bout you? what are you putting on your plate?
Right now I'm eating some nice figs... tomorrow I'm going to cut up a tomatoe freshly picked off the vine and make a nice sandwhich. Then in a few weeks when the squash is ready I'll be having some squash keesh or something. Nothin' beats vegetables ripened on the vine!
well out of the gardens we have ben eating,lots of herbs,tomatoes,bell peppers (red&green),brockly,esparigus,onions,garlic,brussal sprouts,yellow squash,potatoes, and a few egg plants.i have to wait alittle longer for the mellons and gourds,the pease and beans are allmost ready peace
I don't what's up with our garden this year... nothing but the cucumbers and peppers are growing. We didn't get many blueberries either... normally we get gallons and gallons of them. But man are fresh cucumbers with a bit of balsamic good.
lucky bunnies. i was late putting everything in, so everything is later starting this year. last year by this time, there was enough fresh produce that i was giving it away!
I think tomorrow I might make some gumbo with fresh, oragnic okra I grew, green peppers, banana peppers, and whatever else I can muster up from the garden Maybe some tomatoes.
cukes, maters, zukes... like a different way every day , herbs, sketti squash taters n have canned ,frozen n given away plenty already..... with plenty more to come..... just replanted things as well.... workin toward three season gardening this year hopefully..
tomatoes, herbs, onions, peppers, beans, radishes, corn, cukes not many peas, waiting for the carrots, potatoes, and melons/pumpkins to get bigger though... I also just planted some more radishes and some more potatoes to see if I could get two or even just one and a half growing seasons up here with a descent yield for the effort. the berries have been over for a while :'(
hi new here . birds got all the elderberrys and blackberrys. boo hoo. 7 kinds of melons totmatoes a lot but a night time creature is eating them a lot of chinese cukes. a lot of greens will plant a lot of greens and turnips,beets for fall harvest . happy eating Rick
We're eating onions, tomatos, peas, zuc, corn and cucs. Some critter got to our beans so we haven't had many. I'm patiently awaiting the ripening of my pears, they seem to be slower this year....humph.
