friends bringing me some L tommorow

this is going to be the first time ive tripped since my last really bad mushroom trip a little less than half a year ago. (trip report)

I've known about it for 2 weeks now and its been on my mind ever since, i hope that wont influence the trip way to much

im not really scared of having a bad trip again, i feel like im ready to take some, and apparently its some really clean L. anyways ill post a trip report later on hopefully, wish me luck

Sweet. Everything (including those 2 weeks) is going to influence your trip, after all the inner workings of your mind are the foundations for the trip, but depending on how much you take, that's not to say the aware and controlling side of your presence also has a say in it. Either way, if you do feel you're ready for another, and you're a bit more educated on the topic and EXCITED for it, that's pretty much all the good things you can hope for. Sweet. im dosing whenever he wakes up, he brought up 6 hits and we are splitting them, but he tells me this is the best acid he has ever had. so im expecting total ego loss off these hits

another good thing is he brought up xanax schoolbus's to relieve any anxiety i have before the trip, im excited. ill let you know how it goes

 

you do know that xanax will weaken the acid right?

Yeah, I heard that's what they give you when you go to the hospital. Not xanax, but some kinda benzo, probably atavan.

 

Xanax is a benzodiazepine. Benzos are what you would be given in the emergency room if you showed up there tripping balls. They are used to sllloooowwww doooowwwwnnnnn yyyooouuurrrr bbbbrrraaaiiiiinnnn. the exact opposite of what LSD does. It will make the trip more sedate, more mellow, less psychedelic, less intense.

Honestly dude, it's really simple. If you're not ready to trip without drugging yourself up first, you're not ready to trip. You only think you need to take xanax before the acid. get that stupid idea out of your head, take the acid, be a man, take your trip. it's not hard. lots of people do it it's all attitude man. i can guarantee. GUARANTEE. that the majority of people who have bad trips on acid are people with this exact attitude. 'oh, something might go wrong, i better take some blah blah just in case'. thats not a winning attitude.

so don't take the antidote to lsd before you take lsd, thats just half-assed.

 

I love benzos and I get a lot of anxiety round psychadelics. i've always wanted to take xanax and a psychadelic to have an anxiety-free trip, but, really, you jsut have to learn to control it, because xanax before a trip will weaken the trip and taken during the trip, in high enough dosages, is like a trip abort button. I say keep it around incase things go dark or you need to go to sleep, but don't take it before. Many psychonauts will say that its not good to have the option to abort your trip, though.
