Hi there. My best friend and I have been in what I suppose you might call an open relationship for the past 3 years now, and even though we get a lot of backlash from some that know us for being "friends with benefits". They either assume we're both not thinking clearly, or that I'm naiive and he's taking advantage of me. The funny thing is, I find that we have a better relationship than many of those we know in more traditional relationships. We can talk to each other about anything, consider one another best friends, and can spend weeks together without getting on one another's nerves. We just happen to also have a lot of "fun" Anyone else out there in a similar situation?
I wish... I am jealous of that situation. SO many relationships have turned shit once they become official. Sounds like you're onto something good, just remember it could end any moment if either of you find someone else. Though.. by the sounds of it... *jealous*.
im really jealous. youre probably in the best situation relationship-wise there can be imo. too bad the rest of the world isnt ready for that, and something will change it. :/
