Dear Sam, tell me how I am supposed to react to that? How is one supposed to react to a politician publicly blowing his brains out? Because I'm not sure and the only way I could react was to think exactly as I stated before, "Damn...that is a lot of blood." I'm not horrified by it, he did it to himself, I'm not going to feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for his family, I feel sorry for the people who had to be there when it happened, but I don't feel sorry for him, not one single solitary bit. I'd be much more horrified if someone ELSE put the gun to his mouth, but he did it to himself, and I'll be fucked if someone is going to tell me that I should react differently than I do to a video of such a situation. I'm a morbid person, I have always been, and I probably always will be. I don't want bad things to happen to people, but they do, and turning a blind eye to it, avoiding looking doesn't change the situation or make it different at all. This video was not bad at all, I've seen much worse, and I have balked at the much worse, but I'm not going to geek out over some stupid ass politician who felt it was better to make a big dramatic public scene.

I like you, so I didn't take it personally at all, but I do get rubbed the wrong way when someone insinuates that there's something wrong with being morbid. Believe it or not, I quit nursing school before I even started because I don't see myself being able to handle peering into someone's gaping wound in real life. I actually watch a lot of this kind of stuff to attempt to desensitize myself from gore because I have a horrible fear of disembodied limbs and such that stems back to my childhood. My grandpa lost his arm in '62 in a horrible accident at work and so I grew up my whole life with him and his stump, and his stump never bothered me, but the question of where the fuck his arm went always has. If I found somebody's ear or something lying on the sidewalk, I'd probably flip the fuck out and go into some kind of catatonic shock. But brains splattered on the wall...and completely exploded people just don't seem to bother me so much. I think the morbid thing stems from just pure curiosity. I don't see this shit in real life...ever, but it doesn't stop me from wanting to know what it looks like.

This thread is inspiring my lyrical side:sifone:

Demons dancing in my dreams/ tortured souls, I hear thier screams/ pychopathic, homicidal, I'm insane, or so it seems/ snatch your soul and take your life/ chop you up with a butcher knife/ I look in your eyes while you cry, I'm gonna watch you die tonight

oh man ive written a trilogy of "serial killer" songs , but that was back in my "only write dark scary lyrics" phase, one was from the perspective of the victim, now that one was the hardest to write, emotionally, it made me scared and i fucking wrote it lol. do you write exclusively rhymes? as in are you a rapper in your writing?

That sounds pretty awesome. I'd like to read the lyrics.

Yeah that's what I'm best at, I guess. I've written some poetry too, and some of it has been published, but it always comes out looking like some rap lyrics. lol

I wrote this a few days ago in a "freestyle" battle on facebook. A dude wrote a rhyme on there, and part of his shit was talking about "rippin through the competition", so I this is what I came back with:
"There is no competition, you ain't rippin shit but farts/ but I come with the intention of just rippin you apart/ tearin out your fuckin heart, then I cook you over flames/ split your fuckin skull just so I can eat your brains/ so you know I am insane, yes I do it just for fun/ I use a big machete, I don't need no fuckin guns/ there's a method to my madness, there's no way you are prepared/ for the evil shit that happens, even satan can't compare". lol We go for hours upon hours doing that shit on facebook, just back and forth. It's pretty fun.
