thats some sick shit dude, the only problem with internet battles is there isnt much of a time limit because you can edit the shit out of it before you post, but im no hater cuz writing can be a bitch if you arent in the mindset

poetry can be hard too, because very often ppl find themselves in the trap that poetry has to rhyme, but it doesnt. treat poetry like therapy, its a tool to get out what is inside, no matter what is going on, poetry is best when there is a strong emotion going through you, then you basically just talk it out. something that i like to do if im not upset or having strong emotions is to roleplay as someone i know and write about an issue that is bothering them, as them.and its funny you say it turns into your rhymes, because most of my songs start out as rough and rambling poems, and i tweak them into songs. the start as poems and i edit the shit out of them, cut lines add lines and wham bam i got a song.

if i still had my deviantart.com account id definitely show you my shit, but i deleted it cuz i found some of my lyrics in another account, and i dont appreciate ppl stealing them, cuz it feels like my soul has been stolen, and thats unacceptable because i hope and dream to make a career out of them, and i cant if some asshole takes them and uses them to make something out of themselves with my shit. its more extreme than stealing my drugs and selling them yourself, id better be compensated or given props yea?

Yeah, if we take more than 5 minutes or so on the battles, someone calls us out on it. lol We definitely don't sit around and tweak it until it's perfect. That little piece right there took about 3-4 minutes, which isn't too bad, but I definitely can't freestyle in person. It always takes me at least a couple of minutes to come up with something.

I know what you mean. I've tried to write poetry that doesn't rhyme, and it never comes out right. It always ends up sounding like random bullshit and sounds like I'm trying too hard to be all deep and whatnot. lol

lol yea thats the trap with poetry, i know ive caught myself doing something that sounds like im trying to be deep. its really hard for any writer to escape it. ive read some ppls poetry where all of it is like that, and the sad thing is that they dont see it. and the trap i escaped not early enough was trying to sound too dark and morbid, and then i realized that first and foremost it needs to be fun and enjoyable, and you cant take yourself too seriously. some of my best work is goofy on the surface like the one about a vegetarian cannibal, or about seemingly unimportant things like trying to desperately open a difficult condom wrapper (one of my personal favorites)

    LOL @ "vegetarian cannibal". hahahaha

It shouldn't ALWAYS be enjoyable though. Sometimes it can just be about venting. The darkness and morbidity just comes naturally sometimes, and there's nothing you can do about how it all comes together.

exactly, so now when i write dark and morbid lyrics/poetry its when it comes naturally, instead of trying to specifically be that way, and sometimes the most fun ones start dark and morbid then change tone into something that makes me laugh, thats how i got the vegetarian cannibal song

the one dude is all 'oh fuck' sounding douchey.

wiki...In the early 1980s, Pennsylvania discovered its state workers had overpaid federal taxes due to errors in state withholding. Many accounting firms competed for a multimillion-dollar contract to determine compensation to each employee. In 1986, Dwyer was convicted of receiving a bribe from a California firm trying to gain the contract. He maintained throughout his trial and after his conviction that he was innocent of the charge and had been framed.

"I thank the good Lord for giving me 47 years of invigorating challenges, stimulating experiences, many happy occasions, and, most of all, the finest wife and children a man could ever desire."

"Now my life has changed, for no apparent reason. People who call and write are exasperated and feel helpless. They know I'm innocent and want to help. But in this nation, the world's greatest democracy, there is nothing they can do to prevent me from being punished for a crime they know I did not commit. Some who have called have said that I am a modern-day Job."

"Judge Muir is also noted for his medieval sentences. I face a maximum sentence of 55 years in prison and a $300,000 fine for being innocent. Judge Demiria has already told the press that he, quote, 'felt invigorated' when we were found guilty, and that he plans to imprison me as a deterrent to other public officials. But it wouldn't be a deterrent because every public official who knows me knows that I am innocent; it wouldn't be a legitimate punishment because I've done nothing wrong. Since I'm a victim of political persecution, my prison would simply be an American gulag."

"I ask those that believe in me to continue to extend friendship and prayer to my family, to work untiringly for the creation of a true justice system here in the United States, and to press on with the efforts to vindicate me, so that my family and their future families are not tainted by this injustice that has been perpetrated on me."

"We were confident that right and truth would prevail, and I would be acquitted and we would devote the rest of our lives working to create a justice system here in the United States. The guilty verdict has strengthened that resolve. But as we discuss our plans to exposes the warps of our legal system, people have said, 'Why bother, no one cares.' 'You look foolish.' '60 Minutes, 20/20, the ACLU, Jack Anderson, and others have been publicizing cases like yours for years and it doesn't bother anyone.'

At this point, Dwyer stopped with his prepared text. He said,

"I've repeatedly said that I'm not going to resign as State Treasurer. After many hours of thought and meditation I've made a decision that should not be an example to anyone because it is unique to my situation. Last May I told you that after the trial, I would give you the story of the decade. To those of you who are shallow, the events of this morning will be that story. But to those of you with depth and concern the real story will be what I hope and pray results from this morning--in the coming months and years, the development of a true Justice System here in the United States. I am going to die in office in an effort to "...see if the shame[-ful] facts, spread out in all their shame, will not burn through our civic shamelessness and set fire to American pride." Please tell my story on every radio and television station and in every newspaper and magazine in the U.S. Please leave immediately if you have a weak stomach or mind since I don't want to cause physical or mental distress. Joanne, Rob, DeeDee - I love you! Thank you for making my life so happy. Good bye to you all on the count of 3. Please make sure that the sacrifice of my life is not in vain."

Having stopped reading, he called to three of his staffers, giving each an envelope. One envelope contained a suicide note to his wife. The second contained an organ donor card and other related materials. The third envelope contained a letter addressed to then-current Pennsylvania Governor Bob Casey, who had taken office just two days earlier.

Dwyer then produced a manila envelope and drew a .357 Magnum revolver from inside, advising the crowd, "Please leave the room if this will offend you." Attendees pleaded with Dwyer to put the gun down, while some ran to get help. Others tried to approach him. Dwyer advised no one to come near him, saying "Don't, don't, don't, this will hurt someone." With people still trying to convince him to reconsider, Dwyer turned the gun toward his body, opened his mouth wide, and fired. He collapsed against a wall he had been standing near, with blood pouring rapidly from his nostrils and the exit wound on his head. Witnesses screamed and cursed as five news cameras broadcast the events live.

Wow lotsa pussies in this thread. I can understand the girls going "im not even clicking that" But comeon guys, you have to at least watch these things. If you can't even watch it on video how the hell are you supposed to watch it happen to your friend or happen to you?
I have heard lots and lots of things about 3 guys one hammer video, and it was a little overrated. I mean hearing the blood infested mans face wimper in pain when he was plunged with the screwdriver was by far the worst of it. It woulda been alot worse if you saw them actually make his face look like it did at the start of the video.
I admit I'm guilty by being fascinated by this kinda gnarly shit.

I like to watch these sorta things for research purposes since I am interested in entertainment.
It's amazing how different a lot of stuff works from how movies have conditioned us to think.

This was on live TV on one station in Philadelphia as I remember. Of course there wasn't any delay back then. They cut off after the shot.
