I am so tried of hearing about people who are dyin or people who have died in the last few days or weeks(ie Terry Shiavo and the Pope). I dont care!!! I jus cant stand this shit anymore.

Five minutes watching the news on any given night will reinforce that statement.

 

I mean look, the Terry Shiavo and the Pope have been dead for how long now and still thats all thats on the news. They cut away from other shows to show 600,000 people walkin by the Pope's body! WTF? When they die do a 2 minutes peice on it and shut the fuck up!

It is crazy how they die in three's though: Terry Schiavo, Mitch Hedberg, and the Pope all dying within 2 weeks of each other.

Dude, it's the Pope! I can understand why his death is still being talked about. Besides being a Catholic figure (I am not Catholic) he also did some really great things for the world.

 

I understand that, but I dont want them cutting into a soccer game to show a bunch of people just walkin gby the body. And news flash he was human just like everyone else. Are they gonna cut into a soccer game if you or I die. No, so our deaths wouldnt be as important?

I'm not so sure if this is true, I think the news channels focus on whatever is going on that they can milk dry for a few weeks, they are lazy and they pick any story that they think they can make up 50 stories about.


They focus on life as well, they focused on some celebrity break-ups for about a whole month, it is just that two overly publicized people died at about the same time, you will continue to hear about these people for the next few months because that is our media, they are vampires.

 

Our news had a "deadly dog attack" But the dog attacked another dog and they killed the attacking dog! I was like my dog killed a rabbit the other day, maybe I should call em and tell em I have late breaking news for em!
