Fuck yeah, I got in a band

Today is the best fucking day ever. It blows away losing my virginity, christmas, and even the day I found $20 on the ground.

I was asked to join a band.

These guys are older a couple years older than me. Ones 18 and the two others are 19. I don't even turn 17 until mid December.

I met them through my buddy who's known all of them for a couple years. They've played around the city a bunch of times... No big shows, just at clubs and stuff like that.

The drummer is pretty cool. He likes all the old metal that I listen to but he also likes some of the new metal.. The other guys just like the new stuff though..

It's gonna be weird for me playing in a "deathcore" band. Here's the thing. I hate all those kinds of bands but some parts of that kind of music is pretty cool. I like the breakdowns and blast beats. And the really slow chunky riffs, I love the slow chunky shit.

Our vocalist doesn't do that gay whiny voice either. It sounds like some cool old death metal shit. He can do pig squeels which are cool.... If used in moderation.

I'm just pretty fuckin' happy that I'm in a band.

But here's my plan.... I'm not planning on playing with this band forever. I just wanna get known around the city so I can meet other guitarists and drummers and shit so I can eventually make a sick Thrash band.... Sometimes I don't know what genre of a band I wanna be in... I love playing metal but sometimes I just wanna play some rock n roll.

Since the old guitarist made the name we need to find a new one.

Well.... Maybe not that good... But it still kicks ass!

Now that CC's got a band, it is a matter of time before he chokes on his vomit and becomes a legend.
