    How are you doing the restore? From a cd that restores it to factory specs?
    If it's from a Windows restore point or from a hidden partition on your hard drive (most common method now) then your restore backup may be infected as well.

    If that is not the case, then it is something you are doing or some software you install each time.

    That could very well be the culprit right there. Facebook sucks for security.

    Read it again;
    Print this article so you can follow the directions when you're dealing with the Blue Screen Virus. (You won't be able to open any programs while you're killing the virus, including Internet Explorer or Firefox, so it's best if you have this in your hands). Do not do anything that these instructions do not tell you to do.

    you need to print the instructions, find and download the "SmitFraudFix" program and save it to the desktop so it's easy to access.

    THEN you reboot your system and follow the instructions that you PRINTED to remove the virus.
    Hope it helps

    What is the message when you get the blue screen?
    Does it also tell you to download an anti-virus program or give you security alerts?

    It may not be a virus at all but a hardware problem.
    The blue screen comes up when Windows encounters a problem, usually hardware failure, that completly prevents it from functioning.
    If you can post what the message on the blue screen is.

    Not to bring bad news, but just because you restore your computer doesn't mean the virus deletes, if it is one. Even after a restore not everything is erased, even your personal files. If the wrong virus is in your compt it might take months to completely do its work. None the less the same problem might be permanent. =/

    i've had the same problem and been told by a "computer professional" that it was a virus and a full restore was the solution. he may be incorrect though i dunno. i hate virus makers

    You should install a malware detector as well, in case you haven't.
    I suggest www.malwarebytes.com
