Its my only option, other than dial up or verizon DSL....... and verizon sucks some really really fat fucking dick.
They are expensive (to me they are) and we download a bunch of stuff and they sent us a letter saying we were conducting illegal activity and yadda yadda... Everyone has their preferences, I guess I just don't like comcast so I am a bit biased of them...but that's just me...
i have yet to get a letter, and I am d/l u/l pretty much 24/7....... I WANT them to send me that letter, cuz I want to call them and just go off on a customer service rep. I like making them cry.
Oh wow that's crazy! I never hear anything from them like that. But yea it's true, they are expensive.
They sent an email and a letter, it was one of the torrrents we downloaded, they referenced that specific one and I remember which one it was to this day, it was Martin Lawrence Run Tel Dat... I think matt kept the email, I should try to find it when I get home because we were really surprised too...
they actually referenced specifically WHAT you were d/l? fuck. well, I guess its been nice knowing you guys....
Here he emailed it to me... if you want a little privacy & you don't wanna be throttled check this out http://www.torrentfreedom.com/
no it's a vpn connection.. all of your internet traffic gets tunnelled through there servers & it's very encrypted so comcast won't kno what the fuck you're doing. && also your bittorent will download to maximum capacity.. rather than being severely slowed by comcast. i'm getting comcast installed on the 5th & i'm using the aforementioned website. there is a fee tho.. it's 17 a month, but i think it's worth it
