fun, CHEAP, activities with ur guy??

hello all..during the winter time me and my guy just seem to run out of fun creative ideas to do, since it is too cold to go outside and theres not as much going on (that i know of) like outside concerts and stuff. do ya'll have any suggestions for fun and cheap, preferably FREE things to do, like within ur home or what not. we like to go to bookstores every once in a while, and we catch free movies in the theaters cuz his friend works there, and we'll watch movies at home. we dont like tv, besides neat stuff on national geographic and things of the like..any suggestions??? thanks! i know this may come off as lame,but it definitely proves how bored i can get!

 

o yea. we do catch some neat shows(music) every once in a while...but thats rare...especially depending how much money is in our pocket

 

I wish i had some ideas! I'd like to hear some suggestions from people too. My boyfriend and i can never think of anything to do.Sitting around at his house gets boring extremely quickly!

posting this in the relationship forum may get you more suggestions, just because you get both genders floating through in relatively equal proportions.

That said... borrowing movies from friends to watch, going to museums, board games...

But seriously, Nintendo Wii is sooooo much fun. I could play Wii Tennis for hours, or until my arms fell off, whichever comes first

I usually have to sit throught my bf playing video games and it aint so much fun.

make dinner for your moms together.
read each other fairy tales out loud.
plant tomato seeds and watch them grow.
write a line to a story or poem and pass it back and forth.
take a bath together
make love

and go outside! sunshine kills boredom

 

you could have a smokin session... that is if you two smoke haha and invite some friends over, get a few cases, make it a party those are always fun!!
if you are artistic, you should get a big piece of paper and both draw a picture together. me and my sis do that all the time and they turn out amazing because u have two totally different styles coming together.
You could go sledding if theres snow by you, or skiing or snowboarding
In the winter the skies are usually clear at night, so you should bundle up, bring a blanket and some beer to keep you warm (if u drink) and watch the stars for a couple hours, shootin stars are around all year long so those are fun to watch for.
It seems like its getting warmer outside, idk about by where you are, but if its gettin warm in illinois, im sure it is in SC... you could go for walks in forest preserves, take some pictures of the beauty of the landscape, play some frisbee in the feilds its all great funn

Well the geek in me has to say it - Games - board games, card games, video games.

Read a book together. Infact, read it TO each other.

Try to find a new hobby to explore together.

Just a few tossed out suggestions from a happy 9 year marriage

 

we read together. We are currently reading a series (the lost years of merlin, wow we're dorks) out loud to each other.

 

Revisit childhood. Seriously, I can't tell you how much fun my DH and I have had fingerpainting, building snowmen, playing hide & seek,flashlight tag, etc... Long car rides used to be fun, but with the price of gas, that's hardly cheap anymore. Also, what with global warming, etc, I feel too guilty to enjoy it. Cooking meals, (indoor picnic) video games that you can play together. Oh, I almost forgot. One of our favorites is to take off our shirts, amd write messages wth our fingers on the other's back and see if they can guess what you wrote. Of couse, my DH's back is really sensitive,so this never stays innocent for long, but that just makes it even more fun! Hope these help!!
