I got back home from college orientation today and of course there are drugs in the college world. We were forced to go through long and boring talks on how you should not drink and do drugs. Well we had the district attourney come in and tell us all the apparent sob stories of those unfortunate enough to get caught with such a harmful substance, weed. So he came up with so e hypothetical situation that was this. An freshman, of course not legally able to drink got pulled over and was tested a d tested a .01. The officer gave him a dwi and was able to search the car. From the insuing search a very suspicious backpack was found at the feet of the front passenger. You will never beleive what the da said next. The backpack contained a pound, yes a pound, of marijuana. Apparently poor college students have the great idea to carry 1500 dollars in their pack while coming home from a crazy night of partying. Well the driver gets arrested for the pot and that is that for him. You may ask why I am posting this on the lsd forum. Well the da explained next that the drug dealers are out for your money and don't care about you. I started laughing at his next statement trying to keep myself from calling him a dumbass. He said that kids these days don't know what they are getting them selves into and the weed they think is just another plant could be laced with pcp or LSD or who knows what to get you hooked the first time and coming back for more. Y'all can prolly see where I'm going with this. I have no experience with pcp but I'm pretty sure that LSD would not be the best choice for a greedy drug dealer. I'm not going to take the time to explain the reasons for me saying this. This is the perfect showing of the government straight out lying to the youth of America just to scare them away from something that should be there to explore. They just need to get the facts straight.
i'm pretty sure that attempting to smoke LSD will result in failure. the only reason i say "pretty sure" is because i'm not stupid enough to try to burn my LSD oh well, i got my college orientation coming up this weekend, so i'm probably gonna have to sit through the same thing.
Yeah, this shit pisses me off. Mostly because I was one of those kids that trusted my elders and what they told me. So, until not too long ago, I did not try any drugs ever because I had been fed all of these lies. I also got onto my friends who did partake. Now I realize the idiocy and am pissed about all the years I missed out on and all the times that I could have spent getting completely trashed with my friends. Blow my childhood will 'ya. I didn't even try weed until my 20th birthday.
I used to be afraid of this. But then I was like, "wait, it would cost them way too much to lace this with LSD, it wouldn't be worth it. Plus, pot heads are opportunistic, if they want it, they'll get it wherever they can, so getting them hooked isn't going to just help you." So after putting some sober thought on it, I realized that it just wasn't a rational idea.
That is exactly how I was^^ exept I was introduced a little sooner than you Not to brag but I'm just so glad that it happened and I wish it would happen for some other people.
a part of me wants to rant about the idea of college...lol, but ill hold back (to a degree anyway). all i can say is this is the world your intentionally exposing yourself to, they talk to you like children whilst telling you your an adult. i dont really have much respect for the higher education route in this country. more than anything, for most it is just an extention of high school where they can get out of their parents house and keep from growing up for a while longer. im a advicate for traveling and living authentic life, and then later on if you feel like honeing in on a specific field of study that you'v discovered on a personal level, go for it. okay so im ranting about the idea of college, dont take anything i say seriously or personal.
What makes me mad is that they don't tell people the moderation in which drugs can be taken. So when people do realize that what the government is telling us is bullshit, they don't know which drugs are to be taken seriously or not.
Damn straight. I had a friend that was addicted to cocain at the age of fourteen, but was afraid to try pot because she thought she'd hallucinate and get brain damage.
