Are there any words that make you laugh when you hear them?

A week or so ago I was at my buddies house and his dad and one of his friends were there. We were all sittin' around and his dads friend says to my buddy "If you don't light that joint in 3 seconds I'm gonna give you a shpoff right to the head" and he raised his hand when he said it.

We started laughing so hard. I almost cried because I was so drunk.

 

i can't think of any off the top of my head, but the word precious makes me CRINGE.

I think this has way to much to do with the time and place. Sometimes a word that is normally not funny can all of a sudden be funny. If you are with your friends then it will become a classic inside joke. Words are just cool in that regard.

Personally someone can say something to me and I will just latch onto one word and pull it our as a quote from some movie.

I can't hear the word "trap" without quoting Star Wars Return of the Jedi with that squid comander going "It's a trap!"

the only one i can think of right now is "masticate", but that word has it commin anyway.

I laugh really hard when I hear the word "trinkets".. I have no idea why.
And "meal" too..

 

estufa means stove in spanish. If you say it with all the emphasis on the u, it sounds hilarious.

Yea, there are certain words that always make me laugh..
I can't think of any now but when im with my friends and were hanging out drinking and smoking and i seem to say random words and ever phrases that just throw them off and they laugh.
