Ok this is a true story, my great granny, during the war owned a pretty large home in the south of England. Anyway during the latter years of the war. She had a German pow who helped around the grounds doing odd jobs and gardening. She always said he was a rather nice chap. Anyway he was repatriated end of 45. However imagine my great granny's suprise the follllowing spring, when the crocuses came up on the lawn, spelling out "HEIL HITLER"
i don't know, the first two were pretty famous. as for the other 8, apparently it's because you're american.
Well, the Americans haven't joined the other 8 yet. They'll get to hear of them once they do. (It's one of the few good things that can be said about the American Civil War, you know ... they decided to be involved in that one right from the very first day  )
in roman numerals I is one. WWII = world war two WW11 = world war eleven its also common practice to capitalise the "w"
If he was in the south of England , close to the ocean , I dont know why he did not try to swim back to Germany . Hear in Arizona there were a group of German sub p.o.w. s that escaped thinking they could make it to the Gila river and float all the way to the ocean . They did not know that Arizona = arid zone and there was no water in the Gila river . They had to go back to the camp untill the end of the war . This is a true story . desert rat
it's written with the roman numeral II, not the number 11. you must be british. also, arguments on this website are settled with facts and clever jokes, not personal attacks that typically result in banning. you must be from europe.
That's pretty cool, regardless of my opinion of hitler. And yeah..... roman numerals are made with capital I's, not ones.
