I think that they should allow gay marriage, (im not gay) but I just dont think it is fair that America wont allow this we should be free to marry gay people.

i live in ontario where they allow gay marriage. and now somebody wants to divorce, but they didn't change the divorce laws. so i say let them have gay marriage and divorce.
You make a good point, Gays cannot reproduce, the only reason for people to "love" each other as husband and wife is to reproduce, if they cannot do that, then whats the point of these gay marriages. Also, if gays who want to live with each other should not be given privileges that married couples have... because of the fact that they cannot reproduce (all of this is in my opinion)
So, using that reasoning, if a woman is unable to bear children of her own, should she not be allowed to get married? What I don't understand is why people claim that gay marriage will somehow destroy families and so on. Can anyone here explain to me exactly how gay marriage would fuck up families and ruin other married couples quality of life?

Right on even two hetro people who can reproduce don't always do so does that mean they shouldn't be able to get married either. Getting maried is not about reproducing.
