I wouldn't say everyone, I never fucked around in that stuff.
And it's not people who love money, it's people who just fuck up in general.

people who love money typically are the ones who exploit a product and introduce it to the masses gaining unwelcomed public attention

That is a completely pathetic way to look at it.

Fact is, there is no legitimate reason to outlaw a recreational drug, or control any drug other than antibiotics or other things that could result in damage for everyone, such as resistant strains of bacteria.

    Anyone who wants it.

Or they go huff diesel starting fluid and still get ether, but not safe ether.

If the only reason you're not huffing ether is because your liquor store doesn't carry it, I don't even know what to say, that's amazingly pathetic. People take the drugs they want no matter what the law says, all the law does is hurt them much more than the drugs would.

i don't want shitty ether.. haha... you can fool a vetren coke head with some vitamin d and raw ether. you're putting my words way out of context, i'm not even going to bother trying to untwist them and explain myself. you're just saying some absurdly liberal things is all.

if you want absurdly liberal, it's everyone's basic right to attain any altered state of consciousness that they can using chemicals or any other method they wish, so long as they harm no others.

But that aside, the practical fact of the matter is we KNOW you can't control drugs, it does not work, or it would have worked a long time ago, the people who started the war on drugs admitted this and told the entire world it's time to legalize a little while ago, nobody listened because there's no money for prohibitionists in listening to common sense.

Gasoline hurts you too, why isn't it illegal? Granite can hurt you, let's outlaw it. isn't it like 300,000 that have died in auto accidents in the US in the last decade? Damn, them things is still legal?

You can't legislate to save people from themselves without quickly being a despot. And the US crossed that line with alcohol prohibition, and obviously never learned a damn thing.

I am with the op on this one, I too believe that the reason these things were introduced to the common public is because someone knew they could make money off the stuff. Somebody somewhere came across this stuff, mostly MDPV, and decided wow, if people will buy spice, people will buy this for sure. Bad idea if you ask me. I have personally never tried any kind of bath salt and never really intend to. Stimulants are just not my thing, but I can see how some responsible users could be upset by this. I would sure be pretty upset if they started selling 2cx's somehow through a loop hole or something similar. It would be fully scheduled here in no time.

But really I do believe that the sudden accessibility of MDPV via bath salts to the general public really can be attributed to nothing more than money, cause from what I have heard about the stuff is that there is really no value in the compound; causes more trouble than it is worth. Except to make money off.

The Government knows it would be unconstitutional to tell a person what they can or cannot put into their body, period. (See Ron Paul, Libertarianism) So it is not illegal to be high, it is illegal to POSSESS the drug. If you go up to a cop, there is no law against being f****ed on heroin, except maybe public intox. etc. But unless he finds you in possession of a "controlled" substance, you have broken no law. Being high may presume possession, but maybe you got it elsewhere without ever possessing it. There is no one in jail in the US for being on drugs...they are slicker than that...they were caught with the drug, and OALA! No inherent conflict between "Life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness..." and "You cannot put that in your body, even if it has no consequences outside your person...." So next time your ripped, make sure you aren't in violation of some local intox. law, and go right up to a Cop and say "I'm f***ed on (insert narcotic) and how do you like me now!" Ha, he will probably find some reason to take you in, but it won't be for your high!

Hey, I say if people want to do bath salts, plant food, glass cleaner, colon cleanser (okay that last one I made up...so far) they're going to do them until the end of time; legal or not. There are more crazy cathinone derivatives out there than you can shake a stick at...
