I'm a retired geriatric hippie, gay & living in Tasmania, Australia in rural repose. Despite being a so called lazy hippie I've worked as a librarian, stockbroker, chef, diplomat, postie, artist, run my own retail business and worked in gov't security. My interests are now organic gardening, roses, philosophy, architecture, Hi-Fi, classical & some other music, my dogs, photography, history, art, ecology, global warming, computer graphics & cycling. I seldom get stoned these days and when I do I'm very careful to limit myself due to a cardiac condition. The worst thing about this condition though is I'm banned from eating chocolate or drinking coffee. Not to worry, the air where I live is officially the cleanest on earth and that alone gets me stoned sometimes. I have some skepticism about the younger generation who call themselves hippies ( alternatives? ferrels?) suspecting them to be somewhat insincere followers of a superficial fashion. I get the urge to force feed them a large dose of LSD - - don't worry, I don't know of anything like a source of clinically pure LSD these days. SIGH!
Thanks for the welcome everyone. I've already been told I'm acting as if I'm 'holier than thou" & 'preachy' on another thread so dipping my toes in the water here has already unintentionally caused a few waves. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=456941 Them's the breaks & keep on truckin.
