The White Stripes new album came out today. I can't wait to listin to it, I'm purchasing it right now.
i got it, and i say its pretty damn good. I like how they branch out in their sound with more instruments nstead of just drums and guitar. However it still isnt better then white blood cells or De Stijl in my opinion.
I LOVE IT. It's something completley different than what I expected. And although they have had a few earlier songs in this style ("I want to be the boy" is a one that comes to mind), this is really a change. I would rate it their 3rd best album. (coming after "The White Stripes" and "Elephant")
i almost bought this today, but decided to purchase two oasis singles that i cant find a couple songs off of, and don't believe the truth as well... i'm just gonna DL this one tomorrow. well, thats what i'm saying now, they're so far down my list.. *sigh*
so basically its not as good as their last one? the single i heard recently sounded discoey. its like they've sold out just a bit too much.
No, it's nothing like thier single "Blue orchid". That's why I said it's not what I expected. It's mostly piano, and more backround guitar. it's hard to explain, you might just wanna listin to it.
A radio station played it the whole way through, i liked it heaps. And my brother's getting it for me for free

I just got it from Itunes, and I'm pretty impressed at how much different it sounds to the previous records. "Little Ghost" is killer...
yeah i was very suprised when i bought it. i was expecting most of the songs to have the same feel as blue orchid. but there all very different from it. i'm very pleased with it, i'd reccomend it to anyone.
