me and my friend have got his dog high a few times. we exhale into the dogs face about 2 times each. its a really small dog and it seems to buzz out like crazy. or maybe its just us that are buzzing? whats ur opinion and past experiences?

    peace!

i think it's cruel to get animals high if they don't like it, but some animals do..
my cat doesn't like all the smoke from the weed, but he always comes in my room when i get high and after i'm done smoking he'll just chill out with me and purr and then fall asleep

i agree with hippieatheart, some animals dont like smoke blown in their face, who woulda thought. if the animal suggest it wants it or reacts well to the high than its probably fine but some animals you can tell that they just dont like being high.

Yeah my dog doesn't like smoke, but he sure loves to plop himself on my bed and request endless petting when I am high.

i love being high with my cat. i tend to end up doing slightly mean things to him like trapping him and seeing in he can escape or trying to sneak up on him without him knowing and my favourite... chasing him up the stairs. yayz

I agree it's cruel to blow smoke in animals faces because dogs and cats generally hate that. But my cat loves my Volcano. I just blow it gently in her ears and she purrs like crazy and just chills there. If I turn on my Volcano now, the low hum gets her pawing at my door because she knows whats going on.

My husky on the other hand doesn't want anything blown in his face or ears period, so I wont even bother trying to get him high.

my friend has a dog that we blew smoke in its face a few times and it loved it. Every time we would light up after that she would come in the room and sit down in front of who ever was hitting it and put her face in their lap to get a hit.

i think everybody can agree to only getting a pet high if they dont activley avoid it, they seem to be just like humans, some like it some dont

but the one thing that is hard to know is wether or not they hate something blowing in there ear or hate getting high.

I don't agree with getting your pet high. They can't tell you. If you like it or not. That’s pretty cruel

wait so blowing in the ears works? i always thought that was just a myth. i mean when you inhale smoke THC inriched blood cells go to the brain because the THC was picked up through the lungs, and when you eat pot brownies THC is sent through the stomach lining, just like alcohol, and distributed through the blood, so how does getting smoke in the ear work? do ears take in air like the lungs do?

I'm pretty sure it's just because it's not directly in the pet's face. Think about it, how would having smoke in your ear get you high?

when i'm smoking at home, my cat likes to come in my room and chill with me. she won't sit super close, but she'll sit close enough tath when i exhale, the smoke goes over her. when she was small, she didn't like it too much, but now she does.

now, on the other hand, I used to smoke at my friends house all the time when i was younger. he had a cat, and we would smoke in his bathroom all teh time. sometimes hotbox, sometimes with the window open. we'd bring the cat in, and he loved it. my friend lived in an apartment building, and the cat wouldjust sit on the window sill, breathing in the smoke.
then one day, when he was really stoned, he jumped off the window sill, and we never saw him again. not even he dead body. :(
maybe he thought he was the dog from half baked....lol, but anyway yeah, i agree. only if they enjoy it. but not near windows!

Isn't pot dangerous to animals? One animals medicine is another animals poison.

I wanted to get my parrot high, but I thought about it, and thought: no. You just can't tell what could happen.

I always smoke in a room or two away from my bird.

you shouldnt get your pets high from smoke. They get enough smoke from you just smoking around them, and they cant really consent to it. If you want to get your dog high feed it to him and they will like it much better.. If they go to eat it on their own theres less harm in it.

its ok to smudge your pets for your religions, but I wouldnt do this with birds.
