getting rid of residue

    sorry i've been posting a lot of threads i don't want to get ona anyone nerves but im just full of questions. now for this one i haven't started dreading yet because i cant find anyone who will help me but i was wondering what do i wash my hair with to get all the residue from regular shampoo's and conditioners out before even starting to dread?

    I used dish soap, not sure if that's the perfect thing, but it sure made my hair easier to tangle.

    yea i just used some unscented dr. bronners

    i asked at some hairdresser for a shampoo that got rid of residue before i started me dreads, it cost a fortune, and was horrible compared to the knottyboy shampoo i have used later. this summer i used dishwashing soap, as jadememrmaid did, because i forgot my knottyboy in my appartment, and that looks to be ok, but it dried out my scalp very much
