I've had goose bumps for the last 5 min. just remembering this!! When my son was 1 or so, we moved into a double-wide trailer at the Cloud Nine trailer park in Sierra Vista, Az. It seemed like almost every night, my wife and i were woke up by our son laughing in the middle of the night. One of us would go check on him, and find him fine/ happy. Sometimes, still giggling. One night, i was tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep. I saw a shadow move across the ceiling down the hall, towards my son's room. The hallway light was on this time. I didn't pay any attention to it until my boy started laughing. I went into his room and he was reaching for the ceiling, with both arms, like he was ready to be picked up! With a big grin, i might add! Eventualy, my detective work led to the park managment. The told me that a Woman had died in the trailer years before. I didn't ask how she died. I didn't want to know, i guess. I felt like i knew she was a nice person /ghost. My son sure liked her! They say babies and animals can see ghosts, i believe it too! We moved some time later, but not because of the ghost.
That is creepy, but at the same time knowing she wasnt bad is also kind of relaxing. I too believe that babys and animals can see ghost.. which knowing how paranoid i can get, im glad i cant =P did u ask your son about it? or was he too young?
Never thought to ask him. Most kids forget that stuff as they grow i think anyway. So much brain growth goin on. No words to explain abnormal things at that age. They don't know what abnormal is. Until we teach them.
When my mom was dating my dad they both used to see a black spirit. It was standing in the hallway outside of her room and psing. It was completely black, about seven feet tall, and it wore a cloak. She once asked it what it looked like and it whipped off the cape, revealing thin air. It moved to her next house with her, and she still sees it occasionally.
I have a friend who lives with a ghost.. but not any kind of ghost lol. He runs on the hallway, they call them "the athlete" lol, I've never seen it but all the family talks about him as part of them. Sounds funny but I don't really know if I could live like that.. seriously.
