mine - flavor flav went from public enemy, with songs like "she watch channel zero" and "burn, hollywood burn" to "flavor of love"
William S. Burroughs-- All agents defect, and all resisters sell out. That's the sad truth, Bill. And a writer? A writer lives the sad truth like anyone else. The only difference is, he files a report on it.
exactly what i was wondering. a prerequisite of selling out is not being lousy to begin with, on at least one level.
Nope i mean fred durst lol. people just like to hate him. he actually hasnt done anything to be a sell out. He just writes really cheesy rhymes.
and he always has. to be a sellout, you first have to be good in some way. fred durst was never very good musically and never stood up for some cause or anything else. he never did anything noteworthy beyond pandering to the lowest common denominator. it's impossible for someone to sell out if they were always complete shit.
For Fred to sell out, he would have to endure years of musical training. just listen to this sick nasty guitar solo! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MI-_jWAmlE
The Rock. He took the industry that made him famous (pro wrestling) and used it to jump start a movie career.
