Give me a reason why you hate or fear China

So many of you are filling this site with Boycott threats and in general anti-sino remarks. Are the Chinese the new hate targets or what?
So here is your chance get it out of your system,tell us what, and how much you hate us, our government,our society,everything and anything you want to say after all this is a free speech site. I am just curious the west is full of hate.

hmmm I haven't really been involved in any of this, so I may not be that well informed, but it seems to me like boycott threats don't really insult chinese at all. Alot of people refuse to buy japanese cars, but that doesn't mean they hate japanese people. IDK about the anti-sino remarks though. Kinda sounds to me like you may have your panties in a bunch.

 

I don't hate China at all. I'm VERY concerned with their environmental practices, or lack thereof. A new coal fired power plant is being built every WEEK. Water and land is being poisoned. This stuff doesn't just affect China; it spreads all over the world. China has now surpassed the US in greenhouse gas production-not something you want to be #1 in.

I actually think China is a very interesting country. I'd love to hear about your life there.

 

The commies killing a bunch of people and calling it "progress" is a good reason to not like the government of china, i'm sure the majority of the people are decent folks though, but if we're talking about the government, yeah i hate those guys as much as i hate any commies. and as far as i can tell you are the one bringing the hate what with the venom in your post and all.

I personally have nothing against China. I've always thought of it as an illustrious country steeped with thousands of years of history and tradition.
But, treehuggerT really hit the nail on the head with her post. I totally agree with her 100%. Great post. ​

China's is not a problem any more than any other country. The problems come from our insane leaders and the push for globalization. According to this morning's news, our governor, after hobnobbing with the Chinese government, is now preparing to take more than a hundred of our WV streams OFF the protected list so that the coal companies can behead more mountains and sell even more coal to them...

Economically, China is positioning itself against the US. Their dollar is artificially low (the RMB isn't free-floating like the dollars it competes against). Which makes American labour unfairly uncompetitive. The basic "They took 'er jobs" philosophy.

Philosophically, Americans have a decades-long legacy of brain-washing against communism (even the pseudo-communism of China).

Historically, you supplied, armed, and fought with the enemies of the US during both of their last Asian wars (Vietnam and Korea).

Of course I happen to like chinese people. Who else would do my dry-cleaning, cook my sweet and sour pork, and build my railways.

no i'm inferring that what you see in communist countries is communist theory put to action. there is no obtaining communism without their bloody and dehumanizing practices. and communist societies in an industrialist state monopoly world are going to have capitalism in the mix, that's in marx. "true" communism supposedly comes after. china is what it is. a country going through the motions to become commutarian so it makes no sense to call it "pseudo-communism" as if what we are seeing is some kind of abnormality on the grand scale of communism. all nations who "go commie" go down the same path, always, time and again.

so technically i thinks its state socialism with state capitalism we're seeing which is supposedly the step or two before the commie paradise takes hold or something, either way, it's sick and it's what happens when marx's theory are put into action.

and the only economic model that works in the long run is free market.
