Glass beads!

The plan is to list these on my website very soon... but since I've had so many requests and PMs from forumers I thought I'd give y'all first crack! I made them all myself. If you're wondering, my personal favorite is the last one - all the color in it is derived from onyx and silver. It's first come, first serve... LMK if you want one of these, or if you want specific measurements.

I like the last one with the twist. They all look very cool. Are you a glass blower? Maybe Ill buy one. I have to wait till I get back from vacation first. I am going to Florida on Saturday!

Jill, that bead is about an inch long, about 7/8" wide, and the holes are between 3/8-1/2". It's pretty thick. LMK if you still want it, you can come by and get it sometime. Or I'll try and make it out there... not sure what the next few days look like....

Tee-hee. Anytime you want, for the tam! I don't have much yarn right now, which means I need to buy some, which means you get total pick of color scheme! How big did ya want it? I tried getting back in touch w/ your friend about making his, but haven't heard from him... I fear I may have lagged too long.

That bead would look badass on you dreadies. It's all fumed, so the color is not very apparent until something's inside it. But with your dark hair the colors would really pop.

i'm really interested in some of the turtles you have in your shop. i'm definitely giving you a buzz when i've got some money!

 

I'm really into sculptural/animals. They're fun, and they all have personality. If you want something really, superduper especially cool, LMK your budget and I can do you a custom piece.

 

i think $20 is probably the highest i could go at this point. i could throw in a craft or something for a trade+$20, if you like. i know a custom piece is special and would probably take a long time. let me know!

 

Are you interested in coming out to the hafla? It's the 18th, I'll bet you could sell some stuff there, or at the very least, let people know what you have. No fee or anything.

Sure, a hafla is a bellydance party. Basically it's an excuse to get a bunch of bellydancers and people who like bellydancing and drumming in the same place and have fun.

Linnea, I will send the info to you if you are interested. There will be a few other vendors there, I'm hoping to have regular vendors at these now, this is the first time I've thought of asking all the talented people I know to come and sell their stuff.

 

I don't think I can make it. Every party, with every damn person we know is happening that night, and Ian has to work. It's just as well probably, since I don't always socialize too well and this way we don't have to go to some events, thereby insulting the hosts of the one's we can't make it to. So he'll work, and I'll stay home and try to get some stuff done.
... I might be able to make a short visit out your way tomorrow, sometime in the early part of the day if you're up for it. I'll call you in the morning?
