Tickets go on sale 9am this morning. This thread's for all those aaaargh's oooooh's and oooh I've...aaaaargh bollocks's and for any other, more useful, information, hints and ticket buying tips you might come across in the annual mad two hour or under scramble that is the purchase of tickets for the greatest festival on Earth....

Tickets will be made available for online sales through www.seetickets.com and by phone with two separate lines for UK and International buyers.

The UK sales line is 0800 079 2008.

Well I have tickets, Kat and Jonny should have too. Who else is going to be going? Tickets are still on sale, they seem not to be going as fast as last year....

I got through again and tried your number, it definitely comes up as already used. I heard there was a four hour delay on processing confirmations, so you should be fine. Also tickets still haven't sold out, everyone on efestivals forum seems to have got their ticket and it's easy to get through now. It'd makes you wonder what we were all worried about if we hadn't been through several years of hell in the past....

 

hm i have workers ticket but cant go - rubbish - bloody real jobs and holiday allowances...at least...i dont think i can go - i guess i should ask really...

 

hm yea i just remembered why i cant go - because im not gonna be working there a full year so wont get a full years holiday allowance - now i remember - bloody rubbish i say

Tom and DAn are definitely coming. Amanda is definitely not and Katherine may be coming - i spoke to her earlier when there were tickets on sale and she was considering it!

 

Sarah AKA Flowerchild17 has a ticket. Ned/Niall and some of the Irish contingent will be there. Holly/Nerthus says she might be working. Sounds pretty unlikely for a hippy if you ask me....

 

I just checked the line-up and to be honest, alot of it looks bollocks. There's about 5-8 that kind of interest me.

 

I nearly kicked myself when I saw I'd be missing Chris Rea and Buddy Guy this year, but being nowhere near Will Young and Kate Nash makes up for it.

 

For that price they can stick it

 

Only about 5% of the line-up's been announced so far. The headliners aren't great this year, except for the Verve, but I expect there'll be lots of great stuff announced in the next few weeks. And the Sex Pistols! Come on!
