I think a seperate section for Gnostic studies should be considered.

again the point of gnostism is that we are beings of light that are imprisoned by the demiurge in the world of matter. Our only hope of salvation is to transcend matter and return to the source of all light

Lots of mind-boggling stuff to be discussed

That sounds very much like a hell of a lot like the mysticism I've come across. Why have another section for it.

I found this thread from some time ago and thought I would throw my support in for a Gnosticism section.

Mysticism and Gnosticism do not even compare: Mysticism is an extension of one particular religion going beyond the norm of a certain religion while maintaining the belief system of the religion it stemmed from. While Gnosticism is part of no other belief and has been dated to before the popular Christ, Jesus. In order to attain salvation or enlightenment, one needs to attain gnosis or knowledge available to all through their direct experience or knowledge of God.
