I guess at one point every guy is gonna lose his hair! Im not sure im going bald i still have most of my hair, but when just one hair falls out i get paranoid. According to my uncle(whos bald) he got depressed when he lost most of his hair and missed days at work cos he was embarrassed.
not everyone goes bald... it depends on your genetics. on my mothers side there were many men in their 70s with a full head of hair. on my fathers side they go bald right on top. with a few exceptions. i look forward to it, i'll be that aging hippy with long dreads except for the bald spot. lol, thats going bald with style.
I'm not looking forward to it either. My mom's father went bald in his early twenties, my dad started to loose his hair in his mid forties. : /
"I Think I'm Going Bald" I looked in the mirror today My eyes just didn't seem so bright I've lost a few more hairs I think I'm going bald I think I'm going bald Seems like only yesterday We would sit and talk of dreams all night Dreams of youth And simple truths Now we're so involved So involved with life Walk down vanity fair Memory lane everywhere Wall Street shuffles there Dressed in flowing hair Once we loved the flowers Now we ask the price of the land Once we would take water But now it must be wine Now we've been And now we've seen What price peace of mind Take a piece of my mind My life is slipping away I'm aging every day But even when I'm grey I'll still be grey my way -Rush
Whatever you do don't use combovers, they're terrible, it doesn't hide the fact you're balding. You gotta let the bald spot show with the utmost apathy so give off the "pfft, I don't give a fuck, I own the shit" vibe.
it ain't a bald patch... it's a solar panel for a sex machine.... less hair to comb... more face to wash... cie la vie
if it helps to hear it from a girl, let me tell you that it's confidence that matters. if you know you look good and you own it, as someone said before, then everything will be okay. just don't cling to a few shreds like so many men.
It certainly does help, we don't really care if other men think we look bad, so long as the ladies think we look good. I'm not bald, but i worry
you guys worry too damn much about the small stuff! i have been bald for about 25 years. the only problem with it is, you need to wear a hat if your in the sun for long periods of time. i never did worry about going bald. there were a lot of guys i knew, who were worried about it though. most gals don't give a shit weather a guy is bald or not. so, speaking as a baldy of about 25 years... don't sweat the small stuff! :sifone:
I started going bald in my late 20's. When it first became noticable I was really bummed out about it. Not so much about loseing my hair per se more because it represented what I felt was a sort of irrevocable loss of my youth. After a few months I started to cut my hair really short, almost shaved , and haven't looked back. The initial shock wore off and now I am pretty much over it, Although every once in a while I see a guy with a pompador like the one I used to have and feel a little twinge of loss.
OH MY MOTHERFUCKING GOD... IT IS ELVIS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE! PRAISE BE BROTHERS AND SISTERS... HALLELUJHA! :cheers2: let us all bring peanut and jelly sandwichs and, worship at his feet, as the king sings us a song! arty:
Yeah I used to have long thick curly hair but now i have to cut it to a #1 so it will look right. I really missed my hair at first but now im used to it. There are times though I wish I had my hair back. Not that I give 2 shits about what someone else thinks about it but I just liked my hair. Word of advice though, If you think your losing your hair don't shave it with razor cause you may be like me and it just doesn't come back.
