so i'm going to cali next week [hopefully], to see some relatives with my dad. i have a close friend out there who is a massive pothead and i plan on sampling california's finest the second i meet up with him because he has a med weed card and get shitfaced too. anyway, i was wondering, what do you think about bringing the foods through airports since i doubt they'd smell too hardbody, but i don't really know. i'm gonna ask my friend but why not know early on. and how are they, he says they knock him on his ass. how are the prices from the pharmacies by the way. i'm talking about that sticky icky icky, and what are some nice strains?
you should check the policy for bringing food/perishables on passenger planes. possibly in cargo but they mostly likely wont let you take it as carry-on. they are still strict. they made my cousins throw out the little fake guns heir G.I. Joe's hold lol. price of safety i guess.
my buddy is doing an internship in soil conservation in humboldt county (northern cali) and most people dont bother with medical bud b/c its expensive and its easier to just get it off the street than go through getting a card. but if its from a medical shop, theres nothing there that wont get you insanely high. only top grower bud is sold cause like anything, its a business and quality is in demand.
i can't just put a few brownies in plastic wrap and stick it in my hoodie? i'm more worried about dogs smelling a scent of weed really...
Good point, but I don't think my parents would be too happy if they found the mail. Maybe to a friend's, that could be a decent idea...
You know, this is what I think would be called a grey area. I personally might not risk taking food items on a plane but I could see how this might be some way to get by the laws. I don't know if there are any laws around food items. Even though a dog might be able to identify that there are drugs in the food it's not as though there is any real pot. Unless you use the vegetable matter in your cooking. You would be better off making a good weed butter and then making products. Just make sure there is not even a flake of bud. However, like I said, is it really worth transporting it with the posibility of getting cought?
Best bet is to eat when you are waiting in line, that way when you get on the plane it's kicking in nice. If you brought something like a small bag of cookies that were used with cannabutter, I really don't see how they would be able to tell or smell it out, but it really doesn't seem worth it since your friend can get you some when you get out there. I'd like to know if anyone has done it though, since it seems like it would be possible. I never fly though, so what do I know?
I brought 2 brownies and ate them at my gate, I had them in my purse and no one said a thing, but it was not a batch of them, just 2 I want to make them when I see my sister and take a few back, I am not sure if she would be cool with that. I did not tell her I took any back the last time, I did not want her to be pissed at me
Get a po box to mail them to. Airports don't usually have drug dogs, maybe in cali though. On documentaries I've seen featuring dispensaries I've seen weed being sold 70/8th and for 50/8th.
I am sure they have dogs when they take your bags back, but when you go threw security I have never seen any dogs I have had pot with me a couple of times and had no problems
Yeah I took weed with me on vacation and even had to go through extra screening (get patted down and such) and all was well. (friend had it taped to his gooch)
I had it in a maxi pad I wore on the plain, I made a small cut in the pad and slide the bad of pot in it and put another pad over that one so it would not fall out
Oh, I don't dissagree but they would have to send it out for testing and then wait for the results. There are on site chemical tests I think as well but those can be expensive and because pot is something that is easy to recognize unlike coke they might not have that kind of product handy. I agree, they could test it but that involves paperwork and expence. Most of the time if they suspect it they will either throw them out or whatever. The only reason I mentioned plant matter is because it could be recognized. I still don't think it's a good idea, but if you would want to risk it just remember the old saying. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
just bring them with you in your pockets or something and if they ask what they are just chow them down real quick haha
