no such thing. lol. the 80s were weird. full of all kinds of music. but it all depends on what you like to try and find "good 80s songs".
Music by = U2. REM, Police , Boy GEORGE thats right. Billy Idol, Rush, a few more the problem with the 80s many artists only had 1 or 3 hit max . And Metal wise very very very few stations ever play metals back then and only light stuff .

After 1985 the 80s are not worth to lisen too . the coolest was between 1980 and 1982 1/2 maybe 1983. same for MTV videos.
The 80s music was mainly left over music and artists from the mid and late 70s and the new style mainly from england and few other european artists and a few survivalist from the 60s = Rolling Stone , David Bowie, Steve Miller and few others.
In the 80s the money & egocentric reflections took the power and the artistic searchers were just waitin for something to happen smokin 3 pack of cigarettes per day... Mix all that in a blind pro america politic of Regean ... The 80s was just hidin the problem of the country at all price... Musically it s the same... The Movies were full of blind pro american propaganda (rambo & rocky etc...) & a massive return of commerciall movies for people searchin pink entertainment ...& plastic good times... Movie about 'real people' 4people with a brain to use & 4 people who tried to look behind the mirror ...were just under the underground... There s a lot of good things in the 80s... i m not the kind of guy who put all white all black... but generaly it s not a very interesting decade... If u like rock n roll try the years 1980 - 1983 ... when some rests of the big banquet were still there...
