Can't really blame Libertine for declaring his feelings about Apples. After all, she's throwing her legs at us, all over the screen. Not that I object. Show us some more, baby.

As for good and evil, most of the contributors here seem to agree with my point of view: Good is what advances your personal interests, evil is a conflict of interests. All living things have values, such as self preservation. A small fish doesn't want to be eaten by a squid. To that fish, the squid is evil. To that same fish, eating is good, mating with its own kind is good, travelling in a school of its own fish species is good, using camouflage is good. None of these things have to be thought out. Fish aren't real good at that.

Humans, some of them, have values beyond self-preservation, food and sex, such as making money. Some of them are more altruistic: a parent or a good social worker may care far more about helping others than about helping themselves. But I shouldn't ramble on like a first year sociology student...

As Allen Watts said, "Creatures love to eat and hate being eaten."

Everything valuable I know (love, loyalty, companionship) I learned from my dog.
