To what extent do you think Google is involved with the CIA and NSA? How much information do you think that Google provides to the CIA, NSA?
I only watched the cp for a couple minutes.. geezeisfuckingcrips.. if you didnt want people to look, it wouldnt be on the internet in the first place.. 'Oh and Allah is Great...
Wasn't it big news a few years ago when most of the internet and communications companies were giving the government everything they wanted, except Google. Of course, I could have that backward and Google was giving them access to our phone calls and AT&T was refusing to install a chip so NSA could monitor our phone calls. A good "rule of thumb" would be to not post it on the internet if you don't want anyone else to know it. AND, everyone knows it's safe to do your dope deals on public phones. .
I just did a search on google ironically for google and cia, and i am finding that google was founded with the help of the cia. and youre right. google did originally play it off like they resisted turning over records to the u.s gov, but theyve changed their strategy. other results i found was "Google's Deep CIA Connections " , "CIA and Google Team Up Again For More Spying", " Google created by CIA NSA blocking Dissidents ...", "Ex-Agent: CIA Seed Money Helped Launch Google", "Ex-CIA Agent States Google is "In Bed With" the CIA ". It would appear that google does not even care if people know they spy on them. They;re just doing it openly.
Dude, look up the definition of spying, If they aren't hiding it, they're just being nosy. What would you do if your country comes to you and says, "we need your help?" btw. where are the links to the info you posted? Are these real news reporters or just paranoid bloggers with nothing else to do. I hope you are aware that everything on the internet is not the truth. .
Do I think that the CIA can google you, your family and your dogs name in third grade? Fuck yeah they can...
I am not sure if I am allowed to post links on here. I don't want anyone to think I'm spamming but here they are. CIA enlists Google's help for spy work Google's Deep CIA Connections Google created by CIA NSA blocking Dissidents ... Ex-Agent: CIA Seed Money Helped Launch Google CIA and Google Team Up Again For More Spying I wont say if any of these sources are credible, but it was ironic that these articles were listed on google at all, never mind the 1st page. I thought they would have censored it out or buried them way in the back somewhere. In regards to "real news", what do you consider to be real news? Do you trust what Fox, CNN, ABC, NBC, NY Times, Sky have to say? I don't. At the same time, I also don't buy into Jesse Ventura's conspiracy arguments either. I don't think you;re going to find much main stream media trying to expose google for spying on people simply because it is a very powerful corporation, and most of the American media is controlled by the corporations. The only place you're going to hear about google spying is from random blogs on the internet. But pay attention to some of these sites, and what the origins of google are. I think they make a credible argument. Come to think of it, I think the last place you would find a decent or credible argument is on the main stream news. I've come to the conclusion that you would be a much smarter person if you did not read the main stream western media at all. I've heard that people are buying less news papers now because people just arent buying into the crap that is printed in the main stream media.
Two of those web sites are owned by Alex Jones, a right wing conspiracy nut. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Jones_(radio_host) One is a Russian site that wanted to install cookies from several suspicious domains before I got a message that the site couldn't be loaded. I personally advise people to avoid Russian sites. one is a timesonline site that was an error page. And one is a utube site and I'm on dial-up. I listen to news from various sources, but my favorites are PBS, documentaries and personal interviews. No better source for what the president has to say than the President himself, or his cabinet members. By using a variety of sources I can listen to what the Speaker of the House says, and how the various media report it. I've only watched Fox News once in the past 5 years. That was in a restaurant and I emailed the corporate headquarters and complained about it. .
It's probably more to do with the fact people use the Internet to get there news/info etc. Print media is sooo last century. I don't think Google and the CIA/NSA are working together to spy on us. Nothing you posted makes me think that is fair to say. It does seem the CIA and NSA work with Google and have used Googles expertise. It might even be true that Google used CIA/NSA expertise too. I would say that both entities R and D departments benefited from each other. I would say, along with many other companies, there is a working relationship. One argument, I think, put forward is that the CIA and NSA used Googles technology to improve their communications and search abilities. Does that mean they are in cahoots to spy on us all? I doubt it. Google being the biggest company of that type are going to have accusations thrown at it...with all manner of connections and inferences being made. I would say hardly any of it true.
I think that a huge flaw developing on this argument is that people think google spies... Google is a search engine. The entire point of it is to vacuum up everything on the internet, index it and present it to the world. If it's online, google's "spiders" have gone through it and sent it back to the servers. That's kind of the point.... A better question would be: "Is google providing actual assistance (meaning technical support or extra ordinary access to its data and resources for the purposes of surveillance) to the CIA or others?
Google is much more than a search engine and they collect a lot more than just information on web sites. A couple of years ago I was chatting on Google's instant messenger with a friend. At the same time she had her G-Mail account open and was going through her email when she started noticing ads popping up on her G-Mail page that were directly related to the discussion we were having. Seems Google's "spiders" collect personal information, too. While I don't believe that Google is spying on us for the feds, they are spying on us for profit and their information database can be helpful to any government. Just ask China. To Google's credit, they moved their main servers out of Mainland China to keep the Chinese government out of their database when they caught them hacking into G-Mail accounts. .
http://www.google.com/search?q=High...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a WTF goggle gave jackflash more credit than me... this is an outrage..
The government and the higher ups can do whatever they want, no spying, no hiding it, its right out in the open. That is why I.. A)Do not have a myspace B)Do not have a facebook C)Do not have a twitter D)Do not put any personal info online E)Do not use bank information online i dont understand those who do, everything you do on the internet is sent to big boxes that hold that information that can be accessed by anyone.. Your sending your life through electricity and you dont know where its going. But then again, humans are the ignorant species Down with humans!! Up with cows!! Oh mr cow, please shit out your wonderful fungus so i may see God
