meh i reckon smoke it,,, dont do it, but i would i would say what a waste of weed. BTW how did it get mouldy, from being left in the open?
Back when I was a kid I used to get ripped off all the time; as most of us do. I was buying an ounce bag off my dealer, him saying not to pack it to tight in a joint because it was so sticky. Bleh, the fucker did nothing but wet it down; the next day it was covered in a thin white mold. And the point is? ... I smoked it.
I don't think you can get violently sick, but it certainly isn't good for you. Try to pick off as much mold as possible and see what happens. I would hate to see weed go to waste.
Actually, smoking mold can give you a nasty lung infection. Mold has these weird chemicals in it, and burning them only makes other bi-products that you inhale.
not to mention there are strains of mold that can kill you pretty easily... i wouldn't smoke it if i were you. if it's a decent enough amount you can make ice hash out of it
Never had mold on my weed before and If I would I wouldnt smoke it. Just sell it in a joint to some freshmen.
ive always been told not to smoke moldy weed. i used to grow it so if its cured improperly it can mold. now you may be able to eat it. i would say cook it down into to butter. i would rather be belly sick than lung sick.
and what's keeping the mold from getting in the hash? but acording to Cannabis Culture this month all you have to do is rinse it off. and then dry it out again.

I read a little bit on the subject to satisfy my curiosity yesterday. I guess that mold on weed is a more normal occurence than most people think, you can't always see the mold. Also, most molds won't kill a normal healthy person from smoking them. Most people's immune systems are strong enough to handle the spores- you breathe in tons of spores everyday when you go outside. If you're a cancer patient or are aids-infected, you might have to worry about it more though. Search on google and there is an article on a bunch of different sites about it.
Bleh; I figure most mild cases of mold are safe enough to smoke. I used to laugh as a youth, joking that the flame would sanitize it. Hehe. I grow my own now a days, so I'm beyond smoking mold. You can safely make hash or cook with it though. Make some leary biscuits.. cracker - pot - with cheese on top.. nuke it and enjoy! I have heard of people getting a pretty critical infection from inhaling spores off of infected mycelium jars [magic mushrooms]. Life threatening and hard to distinguish.
