I read a thread in here about the health benefits of green tea. I just bought some yesterday , and drank some today. After I drank it, I started to feel really dizzy and my body feels drain. Is this an allergic reaction? I am really dizzy right now, isn't caffeine suppose to give you energy?
unless you're drinking a a few cups of tea at once, you probably won't really notice the effects of the caffeine.
what did you sweeten it with and how much of it did you use. are you otherwise healthy and do you eat a balanced diet?
I had some at 9 am this morning, I sweeten it with one tea spoon of sugar, I didn't feel any side affects . I then drank one without sugar at 2pm, then I start feeling dizzy after drinking it... I did research and it said this is a side affect of drinking 'green tea'
Are you sensitive to caffeine by any chance? Caffeine can cause dizziness, but green tea doesn't have that much caffeine in it. Coffee, most caffeinated sodas, and black tea all have more.
I'm drinking green tea right now, coincidentally! Green tea does affect me a bit differently from black tea. It does give you a buzz, esp. on the second cup. If you're not used to caffeine, that's probably what it is... And no, caffeine doesn't "give you energy", it just amps up your nervous system and gives you focus. You may feel like you have more energy but you really don't. You're just more attentive and awake. And after the caffeine wears off you will feel more drained than if you'd never had the caffeine. Sorta like the come down from amphetamines, but relatively mild.
I usually drink peppermint Tea but only in the winter and when I'm sick, I just turn to green tea because of the health benefits.
i think im addicted to green tea i love it. ,At least sometimes i can only drink greentea in a day and dont eat anything. it gives me enough ''power''...
It’s biologically best for your body. Green tea helps in reducing weight. Its free of caffeine that’s sure good for health. It helps to burn the extra fat of the body and as well as also useful to make the body warm.
