Hi to all, I made a (small) mistake on my first visit to HipForum and went straight to the stoners lounge and posted a thread about a project that I'm working on, which really appeals to stoners but I should have been a little more careful. Also, I should have introduced myself first, so the post would have made more sense. I'm an Expat Canuck (lost Canadian from BC) living in Brazil, from where I make my living developing and promoting websites for online gambling. I also love smoking weed and have openly professed my passion since I was a teenager, even to the point of saying that I wouldn't attend class if I weren't high. Now I'm 47 y/o and still profess my love of ganja. Living in Brazil is incredible because of the 8,000 km of tropical beaches, fabulous people, and best food on the planet but the laws related to marijuana are draconian, especially growing, transporting, or selling. This totally sucks because this country could easily compete with Hawaii for outdoor bud, if they were brought into the 21st Century. So, I rarely smoke here (the pot sucks) but instead travel home to my native British Columbia each June for about 3 months or 1/4 lb of Kush, whichever comes first. Also, I make an annual pilgrimage to Amsterdam to really fill my boots (and brain). Last year I was with a famous grower who had won the cup several times, as he and a couple of Gringo's scoured the city to find "Stinky Cheese". Anyway, part of my trip is to shed light on the hypocrisy surrounding cannabis laws and to enlighten people as to the benefits of this great plant. I've no intention to be militant about it, rather just an advocate and I've found a way to make money by adding Poker to the mix. So keep an eye out for the Reefer Brand and watch the good we're going to do, by rallying a community of like-minded people, around some common causes. In the future I'll be able to share more about our strategy but a little hint is that we've joint-ventured with a leading Marijuana Magazine and a famous Reggae Family from Jamaica to raise money for people who desperately need it. And yes we use Poker as the guise to get the dough flowing. Smoke the competition! Peace, A
