Hello people! I googled "anarchist forum" and found this. You dudes and dudettes seemed interesting, so I joined right away. I've just graduated from upper secondary, and as a part of my "process" in getting rid of the "old" things, I need to find something new. New people. I'm not at all sad for having to leave my school, because I won't lose my best friends. Also, I've been waiting to be released from "prison" since the day I started there. I'm a 19 year old girl from Norway and I have defined myself as anarchist for several years now. It's a result from the extremely authoritarian teachers I had to face during a boring and hardly intellectual education in Norwegian school that trigged my agression against authorities and powerful idiots. Thus I learned that freedom cannot be taken for granted - it must be sought and appreciated. Well, that's my little talk of ideology. I love animals and I love fur on living animals. I have two dogs, I live on the countryside, and I want to study law. I look forward to discussing with you! I'm more than happy to share my experience from growing up in Norway, a very egalitarian society, if anyones interested. Of course, we'll keep that to other threads. See you!
Hello there Nimelia & Welcome to the forums. Glad you found us. I would love to hear more of Norway. I'll be visiting the Netherlands later this year too. Peaceful thoughts your way.... Farmout
I would recommend all of Norway, but there are two things I'd like to point out: the fjords on the western coast of Norway, and the three counties in the northern part of Norway. I used to live in Vardø, a small island to the far north, very close to the Russian border. It's situated above the arctic circle, so it can become extremely cold during the winters, but the northern lights is stunningly beautiful. However, Norway is extremely expensive, so the best way to travel would be as backpacker. I guess there's no point in underlining that on this forum... See you around!
Hi Nimelia, always wanted to see northern lights ... well one summer we set off and hitchhiked all the way up to Hammerfest and then through Finland ... geez i was looking forward, but guess what ? it didn't even get dark  ... which was wonderful too. Welcome to the forums !
Hey Nimelia, Welcome To The Forums! = ) I Have Family In Norway, And Will Be Visiting Them In Two Years, And Also Will Be Traveling A Bit. What Exactly Are The Fjords?
Hilsen og velkommen! How odd: law and anarchy! Of course there are many different definitions of "anarchy," so I suppose this could make sense, depending on what you mean by these words. In any case, welcome from an American som er ogsaa litt nordmann
