hey i was just wondering if somebody (that i dont know and have nothing to do with) has a so called " cannabis nug" and wants to roll up a "cannabis ciggartte " with it..

does it really matter if that idividual breaks up the cannabis nug good or will that individual (that i dont know) get just as stoned when the weed isnt broken up that great?!

    lol

    thanks.

why is it so important if you don't know them?

You should break it up because a 'nug' is basically a ball of weed.

The reasoning is that the more broken up it is, the more surface area of the pot is getting burned, thus, more THC is released and you get higher.

However, I cant notice any difference, and I've been smoking regularly for a couple years now. Most people grind their shit up so they can roll with it, and some people just grind it up so their grinder will collect kief in the screen.

I think its safe to conclude that if it does make a difference, it is VERY minimal at best.

    Yeah.

Which is why I don't think grinding your herb up makes much of a difference in terms of how high you'd get. The THC, which may be developing in the bud itself, or on the outside of the bud in the form of crystals (trichomes), would just get broken up, and burn more quickly and efficiently, as it would be exposed to the lighter more-so than it would be if it was a solid nugget- which may lead some people to think they are getting higher, when in fact they are getting just as high, only quicker.

Again, I don't use a grinder if I'm just smoking a bowl. Breaking it up with my hands is plenty good for me. If I'm smoking a joint or blunt, yeah of course you gotta use a grinder. I think a lot of people just grind their shit up so they can get a ton of kief out of the grinder later on.

heres the reason for using a grinder.. and a kief grinder at that.. when you break up bud with your hand your fingers get sticky.. its from the trichromes.. duh.. yea i dont really need to explain that.. but using a kieft grinder.. instead of those wasted trichromes on your finger.. they instead drop down through a screen and into a chamber.. saving them instead of wasting them.. getting more bang for your buck

I like a grinded bowl in a pipe, it burns real nice, doesn't last as long though, and usually packs a harsher hit. feels good. GRIND!

I can bend in sixty-eight ways
I have lived for twelve thousand days
    Twenty-eight teeth inside my head
Grind three types of things and I'm sad that they're dead
