I'd like this collective knowledge base to enlighten me a little bit about legally growing mary jane.. Fuck, I love this shit, just want to grow grow grow.. =) I know that in some states in the US, by state law, you are allowed to grow pot if you get a license or similar. Also, in Canada you can get permission to grow a few plants if you're sick or whatever.. But that shit don't cut it.. What I'm looking for is creating the kind of grow that can make you a living. Im ready to move my ass anywhere BUT the U.S to start growing big and for a profit. Is the only way to grow to go to Amsterdam and get hooked with the coffeshop ppl? You got info on ppl growing legally for a profit, in canada, netherlands or elsewhere, POST IT HERE dude! PeAcE
Growing legal in the Netherlands? That's not true. In the Netherlands growing is not legal, however they aren't actively prosecuting small growers. When going for the big kilograms you risk a pretty damn fine, and if you're unlucky even jailtime. Police do not do troublesome when not having more then 4 plants without artificial lighting, even with the lightning they might not prosecute you when you are growing your own supply. 4 Plants grown indoors under good conditions is enough for 400 grams. And growing legally for a profit? I only know 1 that does that over here, and it's controlled by the government, they grow medical marijuana over there. We have weird laws ...
That's what I'm saying! Isn't there a country out there that will let you grow fields of sweet mary jane, just as long as you don't export it or something.. Goddamnit, there's hundreds of countries out there =)
Another interesting point I don't really get. The coffeshops are allowed to sell weed, but there's no way the goverment allow ppl to grow what they are selling? How does that fit?
Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen. In short, no place you'd ever want to be. Even countries like Jamaica or Columbia run the occasional drug bust to keep Uncle Sam happy. If you want to earn a living growing weed, you have to face up to the fact that you're going to get ripped off by bad dudes (your wholesalers or crooked cops or whatever), and someday the odds are high that you're going to do some time. Catch Blow next time it's on TV. It's not fiction.
All you need is money and you can do anything you want in the 3rd world. If you bribe the right people you can get away with anything even murder. So go to cuba(or other 3rd world countries), pay some guy in power to let you do what you do, and than you can grow all you want, as long as you can keep paying him off. (him being the politician or general etc). Than your only problem is getting it to the consumers.

hm.. you don't really get a shitload of sunshine in Antarctica, and running your own power plant for indoor lighting would be quite a mess I guess.. =)
If I'm not mistaken, you get 24 hr sunshine for half the year. As for all the other obstacles, I can't help you. Your original question was for where you could do it.
You would have a tough time breaking into markets where it's accepted to produce/distribute due to cheaper producers/distributors undercutting with inferior product. Although if I ever managed to secure millions in capital I would retire to India and form a good partnership with local producers as plenty of folks like that stuff there and you could find a niche that would allow you to live comfortably without facing federal fuc me in da arse prison or firing squad. In the mean time just hope you end up with cancer or something and even then you have "restrictions". Your best bet would be to become extremly well educated and research a good country and teach the locals a thing or two in exchange for a small piece of the action. Stay away from Islamic fundamentalist areas though hehe lest you lose your head. good luck with that though.
