grrrr..... plz tell me I haven't wasted my time!

I grew my own but the mj stone doesn't last long when smoked-is there anything else I can do with the crop? It's quite small-is it worth trying to make butter out of it? Hash? ANYTHING?!! I'd hate to not use it for something... any ideas?

 

It was probably how you grew it. Grow it under better conditions next time.

 

yeah I know, it was questionable mj to begin with, seeds just fell and planted themselves so I continued the grow... but now I've got a bunch of mj that looks fantastic, lots of crystals, etc but the smoke doesnt last long... I just dont wanna toss it all, ya know?

instaed of the 30 min peak of smoking, he wants a longer lasting, weed conserving method, right?

id suggest anything but rolling, the greatest waste of thc. eating or vaping are the ideal options

"their way" meaning what they've heard but no one's come out and said, I've done this, it works, try it. ya know? I just want a tried and true method, that's all, I've tried a few different ways but maybe it's just me or maybe I didn't use killer smoke, it just tasted awful and didn't do much. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong....
Last night I tried making butter, not sure how it is yet, I've read that you should make brownies, that you should NOT bake it b/c it 'kills the thc', so I don't really know... see what I mean?

I didn't really mean toss it btw... I'm at least gonna try a few things before I chalk it up to useless...

 

here's what i would do, make sure it's dry. and i mean dry ,when you bend the biggest stems they they should snap,and break not just bend. if they don't, that could be your only problem.
if they just bend and you have a gas oven ,dont turn it on or anything, just put them in till thier dry ,may be a day or 2 till the biggest stems.... snap!
now put them in the freezer for an hour or so and go by a permenent coffee filter.
break the weed off the stems into the filter with a raking motion down the buds ,don't pinch grind them.
when the fitler is about a quarter full make some kind of lid for it hold it over a baking dish or what have you and shake the shit out of it! mostly only the gland heads will come through! scrape that up with a card roll it in a ball,and smoke it!
if thats no good its shit weed and it ain't gonna get better no matter what you do!
if it does get you high when the filter shakings start to get real leafy(the ball won't stick together) dump out the stuff in the filter and grind the shit out of it (finger pinch method) till fine powder ,and smoke it!

 

I've used low-grade many times before for cooking.My advice is dry it out crisp,break it up-sieve out the stalks so all you have is powdered weed (inc. crystals) and 'wack' a load in-dont be shy!!!!I think its best to add the Weed (or especially if you're using Hash) in at the point where you're melting the butter or oil and preferably give it a 'wee sizzle',Hash will melt at this point.Here's a basic flapjack recipe-http://duramecho.com/Food/Flapjack/
Add the weed when you melt the butter with the syrup at the beginning or to keep it simple I have been known to make a small (1 egg,even) ommelette,softening some onions and/or garlic(this will 'shield' the taste) in butter and olive oil-adding the weed and then adding the egg mix.This ensures that no weed is left stuck to the pan as the cooked ommelette takes it all.Dont be too concerned with having a gourmet experience-you can do all that once you've got stoned!!It never tastes that nice (though there are exceptions) which is why its best to pack as much as you can in as small a meal as possible-hence the one-egg ommelette-cold.its really quite edible-I'd imagine ginger would work quite well!I've had some very interesting evenings using 'shit' grass in this way. and it was cured properly btw I knew it wasn't gonna be the greatest when it was growing, the seeds came from questionable weed in the first place!

 

Could have also been the flowering time. Just when you think they're done, they're just starting to get fat. Next time around, get a little pocket scope (radio shack $10) and look at the glands on the plant. They'll start to go from clear to milky to amber. Amber being QUITE done. Milky being just right for most people.

Throw that shit in a crock pot if you're not going to smoke it. Don't know whatcha got, but I mixed in about 4oz's of trim with an elbow of butter. A couple cups of water to keep it all under water. Let it sit in the crockpot on low for at least 24 hours. I let mine go 48. About two hours into a brownie, I was sitting on the floor laughing at the carpet fibers. I'm a heavy smoker too - so the crockpot is def the way to go. Nice slow extraction. If you need budder recipes, pm me.

 

just do a iso extraction, youll endup with premo oil aslong as you dont let it soak to long

 

Another fine idea... ISO hash is pretty potent stuff. Just be careful.

 

why be careful? just dont use heat.......lol trust me ive been atleast 2 iso related fires lol
