Two or three years... haha, I saw B.B. King yesterday and everybody keeps telling me something changed in my playing since then.
Seriously, only since November 2nd of last year..... more exactly, around 4 in the morning, when I read that Bush won. Although if it weren't for the movie "Imagine", I probably never would've thought about making music for the rest of my life.
Damn guitar is so fun. I been in a kind of rut latley, but last night i was reborn, again. for like the millionth time.
hmmm... I started when I was eight, so twenty years... but I pretty much quit right about the time I turned 21, not picking it back up till about 2 years ago. I can't do lead like I used to, but then again; I don't like guitar soloes much anymore
Probably. I have my Guild in my lap right now. I've been working on butchering some Keller Williams and Justin King songs.
I've been playing guitar for a couple years, but I'm not exactly happy with where my skills are at ... I think I need to take myself back to lessons.
I take 2 lessons a week and still learn way more by myself use the internet to your advantage... heres some links: http://www.power-tab.net - The Power Tab Editor (essential) http://www.powertabs.net - Power Tab archives http://www.wholenote.com - Lessons & Theory http://www.cyberfret.com - Beginner stuff
I've taken lessons for a couple weeks. They were just a pain in the ass to me. I could easily outdo my teacher as it was. Not only that, but he was a really shitty technician.
