So, I'm a chick, and I have a hairy chest. Is this even close to normal? Should I be worried? It doesn't bother me that much personally, but do you figure most guys would think this disgusting? Should I shave it? Thanks!
HAHAAH I know but it's kinda disturbing too, esp when YOU'RE the one thats got it!! And, I mean, I'm only 16 right now! How's it gonna be when I'm an old lady? Sometimes I think I should just get a sex change; I mean, I have small boobs, and a hairy chest- all I need is a dick, and I'm a guy!!!
I am serious! So like, girls usually don't have any hair there at all? Damn... well, I dunno.. shavings like against my belief systems... meh.
HAHA "so like girls usually dont have any hair there at all?" haha I know your kidding LOL If shaving is against your belief system why the hell did you ask if You should shave it off haha peace chickens
Because, I wanted to know how disgusting people really thought it was! And if it's THAT disgusting then I guess if I want to get laid I'll have to... damn!
How is against ur belief. ANYWAYS i know ur kidding cause if i had a hairy chest i would shave it off even though it was a sin to ur beliefs haha this is a funny thread. peace chickens
Well, it's more so that I just don't get why I should shave. I mean, so many people freak out when they see girls with hairy legs and it's just like "WHY?!!?" It's NORMAL!!! I ask them why and they just give shallow excuses like "Because girls are supposed to shave" But WHY?!?! Because society says so? Well FUCK SOCIETY!!!!
hey hey, be nice, theres no need to laugh. hairy nipples or a hairy chest? hairy nipples are normal for the most part, certainly not everyones got em, but it doesnt make you a guy either. im a guy with hairy nipples...almost all guys have em, and i know a good chunk of girls have stray hairs that poke out around the areoles...you may want to trim them for estetics purposes, but if your content with who you are leave em. now the hairy chest thing...if you mean you have hair inbetween your breasts as well, i can't say i';ve haerd of that, but it's not something that many girls would probaly talk about if it happened to them so it's no surprise no ones really heard of it... is laser hair removal against your beliefs too?
If you only have a few stray hairs around your nipples - why not just pluck them? I have a few stray hairs that I feel really self conscious about and I pluck them out with tweezers in the shower. It doesn't really hurt. My boyfriend doesn't mind them, but I do and I do it for me. You don't have to worry about it being against your beliefs, do what makes you feel good. I don't shave my legs or armpits, either, I just take care of certain hair because it makes me feel sexier. But whatever you do - DO NOT SHAVE them!!!! Shaving only makes hair thicker, darker, and courser. You'll be dealing with shaving bumps, stubby hair, razor burn, etc. Your breasts are not a place you want to be shaving hair from. Plucking (or waxing) is the only way to go.
i'm with luv. if you've got a few strays, pluck them. if you have a lot of chest hair, you may want to go to the dr, to see if you have some sort of hormonal imbalance. seriously. but don't shave your chest. you don't want five o'clock shadow on your boobs, do ya?
lol who cares if you have a hairy chest. i sort of have some hairs around my nipples and they arent gonna bother me. just noe thing- as long as your man is hairier than you, i think you'll be fine lol. bye for now
It's totally normal to have hair almost everywhere on your body, except for on your nipples (vs. around), on your palms, lips, and on (vs. near) your genitals. Ladies, look closely at your body - you have fine hair even in places where you don't notice it. Also, I'm not convinced about the idea that shaving makes your hair grow differently later. If you think about it carefully, what bodily mechanism would make hair grow any differently after being chopped off by shaving, nair, waxing or some other method? I would expect plucking and laser treatments would be different, because they remove the root which is the growth point. One way or another, it is your own preference that matters. It's totally normal to have hair wherever, but it's a free world and you can cut it as you want. For myself, I'm a guy and shaved my face clean from when I was a teenager until I was about 22, when I grew a full beard. I kept the beard most of the time for about four years, and since I have generally gone with the goatee look. I generally don't shave my public hair (I have a few times, for kicks) but keep it trimmed up so as to keep the hairs from getting stuck in my zipper. Also, it's easier for my wife to handle me I did shave my arms a couple of times, but for strategic reasons- I got hundreds of tiny cactus barbs in my skin, and I figured out the best way to get rid of them was to shave them off. Of course, the hair came too. I have light hair on my arms, so I doubt anyone noticed.
I have hairy nipples and a patch, but a bunch of girls like that, but I'm a guy. And how could shaving be against ur beliefs(just curious.) Is nair against ur beliefs? if not you could try it. But I dont like it when girls shave under their arms, it feels and looks weird, now legs yeah. Ha I've never admited that before. But None of that matters to me really just as long as she dont reak with BO. and ur not supposed to have hair on ur nuts?
it totally comes in thicker in places you've shaved vs. places you havent. i have proof all over my body, and not just thick hair, but thick hair where i shaved and thin hair where i didnt....i didnt believe that old wives tale before, but im serious man, it's true. i once shaved the top half of my happy trail, and left the bottom half closer to my pubic region.. the top half is now WAY thicker than the bottom half which is much closer to my centre of body hair growth... i once went in for surgery, and when i woke up i noticed they had shaved me in a part where i only had tiny blond hairs, when they grew back, they were anything but tiny and blonde.
umm.. i dont really understand why its so funny.. everybody has hair on their bodies.. whether it light or dark, thin or thick .. and its just more visible on som .. But,.. if you do want to get rid of it tho.. i really wouldnt recomend shaving.. for 1 ..the skin is more delicate here and it would be so easy to make cuts.. also obviously it goin to grow back.. and u could end up making it worse.. as the new hair will become coarser.. stubble.. prob it will be itchy n things or a rash.. myb u could bleach the hairs if they are dark.. or just trim them a little with scissors. Lazers a good idea if u want totally rid of them.. but prob quite expensive.. n i think you got to have a few sessions... depends if its really worth it.. if it doesnt bother you so much.. leave your body how it made itself.. it doesnt matter what other people think of it...
i get long black hairs grow on an around my nipples. they make my boobs feel really ugly so i pluck them and then they feel all clean an nice, like when ya shave ya legs or something. its completely normal. its very rare to have something abnormal. theres millions of people in the world, its unlikely to ever be the only one to have these kinds of things. but yes, dont shave, your nipples are sensitive and it will grow back more. plucking is safest!
I have never heard of a girl having that but I don't think it would be a big deal from a dude's point of view, as long as your chest isn't more hairy than his.
