Hey housemates...i'm far behind reading all the postings..
for the time being I'm rather busy..
few days back my good ole computer crashed due to a blue screen..
and errror messages...anyway...got a new one...320 giga's,Windows 7
it takes a while to get everything into configuration..
luckily I could get lots of stuff saved(USB sticks)from my old P.C..
I see you're all very busy partying,weeding your gardens,good on you all..
today I'm leaving for 2 days to go to a big gig in Leuven=Marktrock 2012..
Leuven is a well known University town...it's gonna be crowds
normally I do prefer the little festivals..but this one=100% Belgian artists..
the weather forecast is very sunny...I stay in the Youth Hostel 2 nights..
for 20 euro's a night+breakfast and no curfew to get in..good deal..
a friend of mine is going to Rimpelrock...that's a festival for pensioners etc..
she goes for Tom Jones and the Hollies who perform there...
rimpel in Dutch language means *wrinkles*
i don't go to that gig...because...I dont have wrinkles(ahah):mickey:
this is the line up for marktrock...is gonna be a long night...woohh...

Just had a fucked up night mare- - Think Ill go out in the garden and smoke a cigarette- and maybe grab a midnight snack>> some fruit or something-
I hate when I wake up abruptly like that- sheezz* *
(jack finishes smoke and stomps it out- - picks it up and throws it in the garbage)
Oh well... I found some cherries and fresh pineapple that some one sliced up- Thanks to whoever did that-
Ok- back to bed ,its a little to early to stay up- Hell, its Saturday- Maybe Ill set the clock for 5 *AM and go to the beach>>> maybe??!!

I just remembered - -in 2 weeks a OLD friend of mine is comin to NY from Georgia (Ackworth, Cherokee county)
We got ticks to see this guy(Bromberg)(video below) at the Count Basie theater in south jersey- - Many yrs ago we used to go the "Bottom Line" in the Village , he used to play Thanksgiving nite every yr. Just a great storyteller and great picker- It should be a great time- I haven't seen him {my friend in about 7 yrs-} We grew up together , went to many different shows thru the 70,s- Looking forward to it.
Its always special to still have a friend that you can get together with from those days of yesteryear-> With my life , and old life style there aren't too many around, its comforting to know that you can go back & share those times with a person who was there with you. Eddie, never judged me- my mistakes or anything else- from my decision not to avoid the draft to my battle with addiction

- man, I'm talking 40 or so yrs ago*- - Yeah it is really special to still have good friends from those times. It makes me realize how Innocent I was back then- and that although most of the times were fun- it wasn't all gravy
When you have someone who was there with you it just makes things past and present seem so real-
-OK-enuff of philosophizing about days and relationships of 45 yrs ago >>its what probably gave me the flippin nightmare- haha

I've been up all night.Went early to the cash machine to check if my money had gone in...It had...Then to check if the shop was open...This is 7am...It was...So relieved to buy some chewbaccca...I wanted a beer last night but don't want one now...Thatz how it goes my friends.

Morning peeps! What a grand day it is! Sun shining, birds singing, housemates philosophising! I was going to give you a shout this morning Jack but I heard you rummaging about in the middle of the night so thought it best to let you sleep this morning. Water pretty warm this morning and not so choppy so yeah didn't have to hang onto my bather bottoms for a change

 

:coffee:All right , I give up on the plan to sleep late on Saturday. I kinda knew it wasn't gonna work. I just cant sleep past 4 am or so- maybe I crash too early..? I think the real issue is that Ive had this problem with falling back to sleep once I open my eyes in the morning
Once Im up I toss and turn for 2 hours without fallin asleep. The last .oh maybe 10 yrs or more, I just said" fuck it"- If its after 3 or so, I just get up put on the coffee, maybe my headphones or check to see if there is a decent movie on..and just stay up
It seems to be fine. . unless I have to go on a long drive. Then I get reaLLY tired on the road which is no good.......but that doesnt happen often
5*45- tHE usual walk to the beach, its freakin hot already,so the sea breeze will be nice

If anyone wants to join me. .I go under the fence by the roller coster on the boardwalk & sit under the lifeguard stand..usually with a dunkin donuts coffee:coffee:

It didn't drop below 30ºC (85ºF) at all last night so it was a bit shit trying to sleep according to my partner, but me? sleep on a fucking knife's edge and once I'm asleep that's it until 6:15am.

 

It was hot here too last night. I ended up sleeping with the electric fan on, sort of pointed right at me.

 

I have a fan at the back of the cupboard somewhere. I need to get the stool to stand on to reach it and I can never be bothered. I have a brilliant system of half open windows and doors that I adjust according to what way the breeze is coming, but right now there's no fresh air whatsoever.
