I had one friend(well, "acquaintance" because he was an ass) who used to distribute it from a pizza place where he worked. A guy who worked there on work-release ratted him out and the cops bugged the entire place overnight. Luckily the owner was told and he notified my friend, and told him to never come back. The end.

But cops get really hardcore about acid.

And someone told me that distribution was bio-terrorism, I'm guessing that's false?

I've never been caught with in any way simply because I haven't done it yet (although I plan to in the coming year or two). But still, I'd imagine its one of the easiest things to hide. Unless someone rats you out, it would be pretty hard to get caught with blotter or anything else containing LSD I would think.

I have, well not directly. But was charged for marijuana when my friend was charged with lsd while we were just picking some up.

Here in florida, im sure its the same in most of the country, each dose of lsd is a felony. Although, some lucky i dont know how way, we both made it into the first offenders program.(where they send you to a youth court [no not juvy] and you are sentenced to service hours drug tests, and some other things. if you complete the program your record is whiped.)

So i don't know about the sentences for the real legal systems. There were three purple blotters of VERY potent lsd in the car. Along with some nuggies.

Swim was pulled over coming up 95 from Florida in a southern state about a year ago... To make a long story short the entire van was searched like Swim has never seen a van searched before and 19 gel tabs were found among other things. Luckily... the police apparently didn't know what gel tabs were and threw them out after Swim played dumb. However Swim did spend sometime in prison (less than a day) for the other things the police found.

I know man, i wouldnt be paranoid slapping a cop in the face with blotter. maybe 1% of cops would think twice of what it was.

I was high on acid when 10 cops came to my friends to crash the party. I had a convo with em, told them i was on acid and they didnt care.

I don't think most cops would really realize what geltabs were

lsd distribution being considered bioterrorism? hell in this day and age with how quickly people seem to link things to terrorism, I guess it would not surprise me. used to be communism was the dirty word. its nauseating that each generation downplays the importance of history only to go make the same mistakes that history's full of. I digress; I've heard that in some places lsd possession is equivalent to manslaughter, but who knows; maybe some judges are more chill about it than others.

Bioterrorism?Manslaughter? As much as that sounds hardcore and awesome, it is simply another bullshit street rumor making its way about LSD. Just like the LSD staying in your spine forever one, the "take lsd 7 times and you're leagally insane one" and a whole bunch of others. Possession of LSD is simply felony drug possesion.

that's good to hear. I never actually believed the bit about manslaughter, but one thing I can never predict is how retarded people react to the idea of drugs, and how those responses effect prosecution.

    It's not just people reacting to the idea of drugs;
it's people's reactions to the mass media hype and government fuelled bullshit on drugs.

true but the media are just reflections of ourselves. philosophies and ideas (or the lack thereof) trickle upward from common pop opinion. any complaint about media or society is an unwitting complaint about oneself.

eh, I disagree with that one. I think the media does a lot more to influence our opinions and perceptions than we do to it. Of course once people are in the cycle then what you said is true. If people took a step back from all the information they're getting, then I believe they'd form different opinions of what's important or not. But in today's society one is constantly hooked in so withdrawing is rather difficult. A good example is that the national debt should be a far more important issue in the primaries. If people realized that in 20 years we'll be paying that off then I think they'd prioritize it a little higher. But the media hasn't focused on that topic at all so therefore it isn't in the minds of the people.

The topic is rather vague, because there are a lot of different "medias". I was looking at it from the mainstream news perspective.

yeah, i'm speaking of mainstream news as well. All I'm saying is we have as much influence over them as they do over us. Same with big corporations; they have lots of power, but can't have it without us as enablers.

Now that this became a topic of corporations, watch the documentary The Corporation. A bit long, but very important. Also explains quite a bit about this question of information and misconception the media and news channels put out.

That's not really any more true than saying that the government is doing the will of the people, which maybe true is some cases and not in others. There is such a huge number of factors that come into play, especially with big money mass media. A historic example would be, William Randolph Hearst often printing stories that supported and would benefit, his personal and financial agenda, through his newspaper empire, in a way that appealed and altered the public. The more esoteric media theorists would argue that the medium takes on a life of its own and becomes the message rather then being a reflection of anything.

I've never been caught, but I recently told my mother straight up that I use hallucinogenics regularly. She freaked out at first as I knew she would. But I explained to her exactly WHY I do them and what they do for me and she calmed down a bit. I showed her Erowid and "Just the Facts: LSD" by Sean Connolly for more info on them and she seems to accept it now. :)
She was under the impression (as most people are :( ) that hallucinogenics, particularly acid, were life ruiner's and that I was hopelessly addicted and trying to make excuses for myself. After describing some of my trips and what I've learned about myself I think she's actually considering dosing with me next time!
