stolen something from your job? I don't mean taking something home with the owners permission (I worked at a place that was closing down, basic office crap was free on the last two days since they didnt' want to ship it overseas to head office, esp. used things like bulletin boards), but without their permission If yes, why? The thrill? Thought you deserved more than the basepay you were receiving? Other reasons?
sure have... stole a case of new yorks strips once from an old job i had... and stole bottles of booze from there... why? umm.. i was hungry and thrusty... it was there... and there was no inventory kept... so its not like they even knew... so they werent at a loss technically because they didnt see the loss
I was a stockperson when I was 14 and I used to go in the stockroom and drink Nantucket Nectars LOL That's pretty much it though...I never did anything else.
I wouldn't like to comment as I am at work right now.. but my cousin stole a drum machine from his factory - he found it in an upstairs neglected room - it was built in the 60's and consisted of a 100 cartidges with pictures of naked women with lots of make up on striking really insane poses.Inside each cartridge was a loop of tape with a recording of someone playing the drums on it - so it just played round and round in the machine but you could speed or slow it down by changing the voltage of the motor. Then when he worked at a toilet roll factory, you couldn't get into his flat for large industrial toilet rolls - well they often came in handy.. infact he made a cupboard out of some of them
hm when i was seventeen i stole two dollars out of a cash register because i needed gas money to get home. and ive taken drinks that i was supposed to pay for... kinda like what annie said but other then that, no.
They should add about $3 to minimum wage and noone would have to worry about people stealing from their jobs!
Not that I'd truly object to the min wage being raised, since I'm a min-wage person too but, it's not gonna stop employees from stealing
it might stop some people from stealing a dollar here and there for food/gas money etc... but its not gonna stop the big stealing... enron style stuff....
the min wage is an insult, I wouldn't ever steal from work , however if they wanted to help stop stealing they would have to add more than $3 onto it to make it anywhere decent S
I dojn't think minimum wage has anything to do with it. I made a good bit more than min wage and stole shit anyway.
i stole a candy bar once. i couldn't even eat it. gave it away. so no, stealing is not at the top of my priority to do list.
i have a plastic cup, but i dont have any beer glasses (yet) i steal matches all the time a tiny bottle of hot sauce
