Ok I am not a big fan of having blood taken, for any reason! today they fucking stabbed at my arm with a needle 4 times, twice in each arm...... before actually taking my blood, and had to throw away half a test tube of it since the tube "had something wrong with it" WTF? my question is, what is the most times they had to stab you with a needle in one visit before they hit a vein........... 4 seems a bit much to me...............................
8 once when i donated blood i just donated 3 weeks ago and they stabbed me 5 times i have very big veins in my arms that are close to the skin and they fall flat it bites and after i donate or get blood work done i always look like a junkie
um....i don't know how many times they had to stab me, but it was more than a few....and they even had to use a pediatric needle on me because my veins are so small and hard to find.....
i couldnt beleive it, i have never had to be stabbed at more than once. she hit and vein and was like... well i guess it doesnt have any blood in it, lets try another one!! haha If it didnt have blood, that wold mean I AM DEAD right????
I've only had blood drawn once. They had to give me some back after that! I have really thin blood and I can't lose a lot. It's called something, I can't remember what. 4 times does sound a little excessive.
thrice, but that was actually for an IV when I was like, 13 or 14. For giving blood for donation or for testing, just once. I'm so pale that my veins show really easily, heh.
yeah this always, always happens to me, the most times they ever did was when I was getting an IV in me when I had really bad migraines and the girl did it 5 times, then she brought someone else in and he did it 3 times and then someone else came in and they did it 3 times and it finally worked.
My veins are hiding somewhere deep down so it always takes many attempts before they actually get any blood coming into the test tube. It's annoying, coz I always end up looking like a junkie with a gazillion bruises in my arms.
i dont mind giving blood at all. in fact i kinda like it. the last time i gave blood it took the lady 3 times to find the vein and she filled up 5 tubes. i thought 5 tubes of my blood was a bit much
the only time i had blood taking, it only took 1 poke. i can't give blood right now, so yea, i don't have much experience with that.
I have really small veins that are hard to find.. So every time i get blood taken Its 3 of 4 stabs in each arm before they get one... When i had my wisdom teeth out and they tried to put the IV in it took about a 1/2 hour to get it in my arm... I was freaking out and crying... It hurt soooo bad.. I was ready to run away... Next thing i knew it was all over.. but I woke up still crying ... They never even told me they were gonna knock me out... they must have gotten it and and instantly gave me the meds so i would stop freaking out.
i have some big vains but the last time they wanted to take blood they pooked me 5 times before they got blood. i had an iv put in once too and the had 4 pooks before they got that in. i am not scared of needles but i am starting to get there.
People don't come near me with needles, if they know whats good for them. I don't care what the situation, even if someone was going to die without my blood. No one, I reapeat, NO ONE will be sticking any fucking needles in my arm, or anywhere for that matter, and taking my blood. Fuck that.
haha yeah i hate giving blood but i have big veins so its easy. man with the surgery i just had i had to get a iv it was horrible my hand is still black and green
