hello peoples, bit of a tricky one here.....just wanted to ask opinions on the best age gap between children, i want to have another one.....but not for a while, trouble is i may not have a choice, periods late. grrrrrrrr. test is neg but i feel very odd, ive got a three month old son btw. and i have been careful, there was one occasion where condom may have leaked as we carried on for a little while after it was full, if you see what i mean.

those of you with some medical knowledge, will i be risking my health and this babys having it so close to Eden (not that i even know if i am pregnant yet.) im also worried about the impact it would have on my son and my husband, but ill deal with that when the time comes, just wanted to know the health side really, i had Symphisis Pubis Dysfunction and Hyperemisis in my last pregnancy, is that likely to happen again?

    oh dear. :(

i don't know about anything for sure. i believe it is recommended that you wait about a year so that things can adjust themselves again. however, my mom had my sister and i born 15 months apart and many other people do too. when i got pregnant the second time i knew before the test results could work that i was. wait another week or two and check again. and discuss these concerns with your doctor, midwife, w/e

My brother was born 11 month after I was born, and everything worked out fine as far as I know! I know plenty of people who's siblings are so little apart...

there's a book that i think you would like to read: A Natural Guide to Pregnancy and Postpartum Health
    by Dean Raffelock

it will give you some nutritional strategies to help rebuild your body's reserves and nourish your body thru another pregnancy. this is a book that i think all women of childbearing years should read anyways! but it sounds like you need the information it contains.

My Dad is 11 months younger then one of his brothers. My first 2 kids are 14 months apart and my grandchildren are also 14 months apart. All of the babies were born healthy.
