I could definately use it.

 

like it's being done wrong.

the way we should do it is create a system whereby non-profit insurance companies can compete with for profit ones. medicare should be streamlined. not bulked up.

and the entire chart system should be phased out over the next five years half paid by the federal government, half paid by private industry, for medical cards.

everyone gets a medical ID card with X gigabytes on it, it has every test, every note, every blood-test you've ever had on it.

there is of course a centralized copy so if you lose your card you're not fucked.

the transition to this system would create jobs, and decrease medical administration costs from 25% to something closer to taiwan's 4% (which would eliminate jobs, but it would take ~5 years, so they'd have warning)

 

It's a dumb mess just like Obama's entire shitty presidency.

I just hope that he decriminalizes pot or something... maybe one positive thing will come out of this mess.

I didn't say legalize, and no.

He won't be remembered by that anyhow. It will be blown out of proportion for a bit and then everyone will forget that anything is different. It's not like they're gonna start selling pot in gas stations.

He'll be remembered as the president who couldn't get shit done because of bad planning and dumb bureaucracy.

At least we can study on cloning shit now.

when asked to sign a resolution agreeing to sign up for the new proposed healthcare plan, outta the 435 members of congress only 30 or so have signed..

that tells me all i need to know about this proposed plan. when all 435 sign on or at the very least a majority, then i might have more to say. until then, the proposed plan stinks..

 

Does health care need reform?

I do not see the problem now.

If I am sick I go to the doctor and pay cash. Simple.

Socializing medicine is more about control of our lives and increasing governments power.

The government fucks up everything it touches.

People that produce in life will end up paying it for everyone else.

That is why the big money is moving out of the USA.

I just think that the administration will be smart enough to divert your attention to something else if marijuana laws ever become more lax.

...people will eventually simply forget about it and get distracted by some celebrity's vag.

 

If somebody could succintly lay out what Obamas plan is...that would be helpful.

I pay taxes too, but i dont have a healthcare plan through work. I kinda need help.. we cant all go dropping thousands of dollars whenever we break a wrist or somehtnig

 

He has washed his hands of the issue by carefully selecting a drug czar who is lenient on the issue
