Hmm... well, what can I say? I'm from Hungary, Budapest, a city I love and hate at the same time. The bad thing about my location is that there are very few hippies here... Not that I would label myself a hippie or anything else, I'm just my "uncool" self, but I love being around hippies. Ah, and I'm an Aquarian, I think that explains all. One of my biggest passions in life is writing and I've been into literature since I learned to read. The past two years were the worst ones of my life, I was quite depressed, but now I'm okay, pretty happy and have returned to my "hippie roots", thanks to my boyfriend, whom I met half a year ago and love very much. He's a latino so we talk in Spanish. My teachers never figured out how my Spanish have started to improve lately... When it comes to music I like U2 (ok, I know that most of you don't, but their music means a lot to me), The Beatles, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Nine Inch Nails and generally every kind of music that says something to me. So this is all I can think about at the moment, I'm a bit anxious about my English, I never really used it in real life, I mean, not in class, so sorry for the mistakes, it will get better with practice.
welcome Your English is very good, don't worry about that! My wife is Spanish, and I'm learning a lot of the language from her, although its not always best to have someone that close try to teach you anything. I'm curious about Hungary....if you ever want to make a thread about it or post pictures I will definitely be there!
Helloooooooooooooo and welcommmmme! U2 is aaaawesome! How to dismantle evil is the best record ever made. OH ya, your english is very good, too! cheers.
Thank you both, my anguish level has descreased significantly! seamonster66: I teach him Hungarian so it's fun. He's a poet, I want to be one, teaching the each other our own languages is very inspriring this way. Starting a thread about Hungary? Wow, that's a great idea. Thank you! I will do that as soon as I can get some photos.
Hello & Welcome! Seems funny to me that lots of US hippie kids want nothing more than to backpack across Europe, and do, yet you say hippies are scarce...they aren't scarce here! And yes, your English is fine; much better than the condensed text language that so many cyber-folks use. Have fun in hippyland! Love, Light, Peace, Bubbles, Glitter & spread all good things!
