Nice To meet you all. I write something called "hip hop poetry" I guess it doesn't count as poetry due to it being a diffrent Rhymesheme or something. But I hope it's welcomed here.
some poetry does not even have a rhyme scheme, more of a rhythm scheme. Don't let academia define art. That always goes bandy. Meanwhile look up an old form called talking blues. I've always suspected it was a root (not THE, but A) root of hip hop. and scoot over to the writers section.
Would you mind linking me to the writers section? I havent been able to find it, maybe I just haven't looked. But I actually like this forum alot...it has alot of sections that suit my intrest.
