Help me out folks...

I'm freakin bored here.. and i dont know what to download and watch... got some suggestions? nothing obvious like Dazed and Confused or some other movie i have probably seen a 100times over.. im talkin about a good rare gem.. lately I've watched Transformers, American Gangster, both Grindhouse flicks, Halloween.. just to give ya an example of what i've seen lately

 

Resident Evil 3 is a killer dude

 

have you seen knocked up? beerfest? 40 year old virgin?

 

knocked up or hannibal rising(if uve seen the others)

 

^^^ i've heard nothing good about Hannibal Rising.. actually heard its one of the gayest movies ever....

No i have not seen knocked up yet... might DL it.. i've heard a lot of good things about it

yes i have seen 40y/o and Beerfest... havent tried finding a screener of Res 3

 

Just watched Mr. Brooks today, it was pretty good. A good favorite of mine is Homegrown, with Billy Bob Thornton. <---Good flick.

Another good one is Legends Of The Fall. Not too many people have seen it, but everyone needs to.

american history x is a classic

 

the city of lost children is pretty fucking wierd, and i think its really good.

 

some amazing classics you may or may not have seen:

lawrence of arabia (be forewarned it is incredibly long and drawn out, but the story is incredible, and it just takes its time to unfold. if you're able to enjoy a long film with wonderful music and cinematography, its great.

dr. strangelove, the shining, and 2001: a space odyssey, and a clockwork orange are all inconceivably brilliant movies by stanley kubrick....you've probably at least seen the shining, if nothing else...but these are all excellent movies. dr. strangelove is particularly interesting to me in particular, especially when you look at what went on surrounding the making of the movie, and the political climate of the time

casa blanca is an old movie, but in my opinion one of the best ever made.

monty python's and now for something completely different is great, as is the life of brian, and monty python and the holy grail....comedy classics. though now for something completely different is just a movie rendering of some of their funniest (but not all of their best) television sketches.

roman polanski made a couple wierd movies that are pretty good if you like the kind of thing, but i could see them being considered boring by some folks. but rosemary's baby and repulsion are both classics.

don't be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood is fucking hilarious.

the dark crystal is a really wierd but awesome movie. so is labyrinth.

the adventures of baron munchausen is a good movie, but another one that can get long and dull if you're not in the right mood for it. i suggest smoking a lot of pot, its pretty off the wall. but its cool as hell, really. and hey, its an early role for uma thurman (the movies from 1988...according to IMDb she was 18) and she is the nude godess venus in it in one scene....definitely an added bonus...

the cell and the fifth element are also pretty cool movies....the cell is better, but i do really like the fifth element, too.

 

Trainspotting. It is definatly one of the best movies ever, if you haven't seen it, you should.

and A Clockwork Orange is excellent.
