"HELP" Systems Restore

    I am running Windows XP Home and Internet explorer was accidentally uninstalled or something and computer (laptop) won't let me restore to a earlier date. HELP don't know what to do???

    You should not even be using IE (internet explorer). That is your first problem. When you get your computer up and running, use the Firefox browser.

    Try system recovery rather than restore.

    there are applications that require it to be installed, or they claim to. this is xp world, where you can actually remove internet explorer, so you must be able to install it again, from the Microsoft download center? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=43

    Firefox is the best for me, but there are other popular alternatives to internet explorer, like Google Chrome and Opera.
