I really need some help with this! I want to do some cooking but was told that schwag was the only way to make the butter. So we used chronic anyway with a cookie mix (used about 1/4 oz) peanut butter mix, not from scratch. And we didn't feel anything. We blended the bud in a coffee grinder first and then cooked it in oil which we then added the entire thing to the mix. So is this right, do we need schwag?? Or was using the mix instead of real butter, etc our problem? Does anyone have experience with this or have a site to refer me to? I'm getting desperate here....
chronic is better than shwag, therefore chronic works even better in the kitchen. i don't know what you mean by peanut butter mix, but that was probably your problem. all you need to do is grind/chop the weed as finely as possible and then gently simmer it in vegetable oil for 20 minutes. the oil should not be boiling, but should be near-boiling for proper thc extraction. after several minutes the oil should be turning dark in color. when you're done (i leave the bud in the oil), just use the oil however you want (e.g. use it in brownie mix). no one should have any trouble getting off this way. i make all sorts of delicious weed food: for example, i recently made a pizza with only a small joint's worth of chronic and got two people ripped out of their minds for 6+ hours. also, my brownies, which contain only ~0.25g per serving, are so strong that i cannot eat an entire one for fear of losing muscular control (which happens when you eat to much! eat more and you'll pass out, guaranteed!). i make soups, pasta, and more. with the amount that most people smoke in a single, small joint, i can get 1-2 people high for nearly 10 hours. cooking with ganja ROCKS. any questions? good luck!
u most likely over cooked ot or just used crapy ingredients ...or expected to eat anmd be high instantly when u eat the high takes tome and lasts a long time but most likeluy ui just dont know how to cook
Thanks for all the help!! But I'm really not sure what we did wrong. We first boiled the oil to around 350 degrees, then we poured the weed in the oil (the weed was ground in a coffee grinder to a fine powder), we then added the weed/oil mixture to the peanut butter cookie mix and baked the cookies. The oil didn't turn brown though, maybe that's where we went wrong. Wow I didn't know you could get baked off .25g!! the oil i use was cold extracted over months a few tiny drops 8 drops will fuck u up unbelievably for 24 hpours as fgor what u did 350 would burn it up u want a medium heat and slowly heat it continue till u got a dark green/btown color persoinaly i like the slow cold extraction better but takes patience but so does cooking start with better ingredients better recipies and dont rush if youve ever concidered a microwave a legitimate cooking tool then ya shouldnt be cooking ganja take yoir time to do it right

If you're trying to make butter you have to strain all the weed out of your mix, put it in the fridge and let the fat settle for a couple hours. After that, you should have a greenish butter.
i have a half O of some regular [commercial] and was wondering myself how to make some yummy brownies. directions would be nice, considering i spend 40 freakin bucks.
The pil shouldn't be at 350 degrees that's to hot. Turn the oil up hot, but just below simmering and let it stay hot and stir for 2-4 hours the longer the better. Also you need to be using enough weed.
